I am highly HIGHLY doubtful of any Emma LI romance. First off, though she's known to defend her adulthood quite a bit ("but Mom, I'm 18! I'm an adult!!) while being hugged, coddled and tickled like a 9-year-old, it would seem that even the Hint of a non-paternal display of affection would be, at the very Least, grounds for a Great Leap Backward in terms of the never-ending climb towards the Family being able to trust The Big Guy.
Besides, both Emma and MC, for their own reasons, run from anything sexual between them like the plague it seems. Any mention of sex stuff to Emma from, say, her friend Jenny, is met with horror -- and MC has not even been seen looking at her in 'that way'. Ever. IDK, maybe if somehow they got stranded in a blackout on a trip somewhere, in a cabin in the woods -- for, like, 2 weeks? Or more? Something MIGHT happen? Yeah, nah. Considering how long it's taking Charlotte to get past first-base, I'm thinking maybe Emma gets a french kiss for her 30th birthday? Maybe.
Also, even though I personally would Love to see little Emma get some astonishing lessons in eros from MC -- the way this VN goes, even Kisses are gifted sparingly (no, none for Emma yet, as far as I've seen); damn, even nudity! (not talking about Kaylah or Lucy [Charlotte path so far], even though the remake rearranged that too). It's all glimpses of clothed breasts (gasp!) and maybe bikinied bottoms (oh!). This is Slow Burn to the Ultimate Degree. How many scenes with [thought:" I'm beginning to feel things for her/him -- but I'm so conflicted! What should I DO?"] I counted 27. So far. Good golly miss molly...

I think Emma fits nicely into the classic damsel in distress trope.
There's a stalker after her, and she needs protection, needs help . . . She already has protection, and that has led to some romantic tension.
But probably something more dramatic needs to happen to push the romance forward, and to make the romance acceptable to her mother.
Emma has already been in several damsel in distress moments where she has been rescued.
So I think we can expect another big one.
For example, the stalker captures Emma, kidnaps her, ties her up, beats her, the same kind of thing that once happened to her mother but no rape, and after quite a bit of drama and danger, the MC rescues her, and she's still a virgin.
Saving her leads to romance and acceptance of their romance by all.
I don't think it should be too difficult to develop a romance with her. It's a classic plot line.

Why the thinking face, oceanbobo4? I was supportive of your extrapolations! And now that I've re-loaded the Lucy path, I'm seeing more Emma possibilities, so -- my bad! I should have known that a Charlotte path would lead to who knows how many months of will-she/won't-she scenes, while all others are put to pasture. This here picture of Emma's dilemma (!) is a hopeful sign, via the Lucy-path:These are wonderfully fertile ideas! And I would SO like to be proved wrong!

Understanding that dev is probably way ahead of me here, I thought that perhaps the motorcycling sexually-liberated Lucy could see that Emma, having had such unfortunate experiences with Zak, needs to be introduced to sex by someone trustworthy -- her new boyfriend MC! Otherwise who knows what creep could take advantage of her innocent niece? Especially since Lucy has been secretly informed by Emma of her deepest desires...

I thought this update was the path chooser, I think that I ended up the same place as last update with no new content, pretty sure last update ended in the hot tub but new update ended 1 minute later with coffee at breakfast...
