And of course I also played the Luzy Path, but it didn't touch me emotionally. And our beloved Joshy92 will naturally see things completely differently. But as you said: "That's the beauty of this game anyway. Whomever you choose you feel you chose the right one."

Same goes for me, for Charlotte's path. I like her as a character and her path has some nice scenes but she did not touch me emotionally. Even when I play her path, I was thinking about Lucy and how does it effect her.

That's one of those things with a bad conscience. I can completely understand that, only in the opposite case.

Even if you choose all the good options for Charlotte, she is not feeling for MC if he is on other path. Why exactly? A few scenes prior to this, she confessed she has feelings for MC to Lucy then suddenly she changed her mind. Why the inconsistency?

It would have made more sense, if she just said, "he's a good man, but I know Lucy likes him, not going to deny her some happiness, I love my sis". Also would have made her look like a good person & sister.

Anyone else think after that update that Weinstein guy wants to get rid of some loose cannon he can’t control anymore and he’s tired of covering up for that asshole actors crimes? Wouldn’t be shocked at all to see if Weinstein has him whacked but makes it look like the bodyguard did it, maybe they steal his gun and use it in the murder and leave it at the scene. Also think agent Fox days are numbered (hope I’m wrong) since she wont get in line with the corrupt cops and she’s getting too close to finding something.

well. finished this half-update and it's left more questions then before. i'm on Sharlotte path currently btw. actually their relationtiop is moving at pretty real-life speed considerring mc is willinly stalling and not pushing S for more. Jason's deffinitely made himself a liability to Harry. i'm not sure that pictures from Johno will make much difference and mc will have to sort everything by himself which opens a possibility for another 3-4 years of hard work for thedev)))

What they did with this game is simply sad, it seems that the devs have no idea how to continue the plot, these constant twists and turns are getting boring, and the waiting time for updates is ridiculous...

could anyone provide me a save file up to version 14 that has the MC's name not default? I was dumb and I did not change the MC's name and I can't stand it anymore to read every time "Mr. Bodyguard". I'm going insane.
Or does anyone know how to change it, even from the VN's config file? I tried looking inside the python files a bit but I could not find anything.

It's an alternate text on Lucy's path if mom_choice_04 == False and aunt_choice_03 == 1

Text is different if mom_choice_04 == True and a third option in case neither is True or 1

If you see this text you're not on Charlie's but on Lucy's path or it's a bug. There's no bug in the original script there, but any mod that replaces scripts could be bugged.

Are you using any walkthrough mods?

I couldn't find any bugs. Apparently there was a bug in ep12.rpy at some point, but not any more. And a piece of code in the beginning of ep13.rpy should fix saved values from the bugged ep12.rpy.

What is the value of your mom_choice_04 ? It should be True on Charlie's path.
aunt_choice_03 should be 0

Can you open Ren'Py console and check these values before that scene?

I don't know anything about the bug but I am on Lucy path there. I am talking about story rather than coding. MC does everything the same as Charlotte path but if you choose Lucy, then Charlotte says this. I don't think it's fitting for the story. She was falling in love with MC and does not make sense when she says this.

At the coffee shop scene, when I am on Lucy path, Charlotte says she is falling for MC and Lucy offers her to vet MC about Charlotte. Maybe that's the buggy part.

I do not use any mods.
