The dev is doing his best and taking criticisms and suggestions from the community, also the game is still in the early stages and we have plenty of content. Also the dev did a major rework in the latest update. What matters the most is that he's consistent with the update and doesn't keep us waiting for too long, which already puts this game ahead of the pack considering every other AVN with a decent story usually takes more than 4 months
I simply shared my impressions of the game after trying it out a bit. I didn't try to disparage it or bring it down in any particular way, nor did I put the blame on the developer. Basically, I'm saying that the game doesn't have much at this stage to really stand out or leave a lasting impression. At best, it's okay, but nothing more for now. Maybe it will improve over time, and I hope it does, but as I said, I'm judging based on what’s currently available.
It's a good thing if the dev is making efforts in the right direction, kudos to him. That said, the frequency of updates isn't, in my opinion, a reliable indicator of quality or depth. It doesn’t say anything about the intrinsic strengths or weaknesses of a game. A developer can release updates very regularly, but that alone doesn’t magically make a game good or help it stand out from others.
That's why I said I had no expectations for the game, so I'm not disappointed by it. I tried it, gave my first impressions after playing, and I’d say it’s okayish at best but nothing more. Very basic, even. The story is uninteresting, lacks originality, feels flat, and the characters are quite shallow.
I play visual novels for their story. Lewd content is a nice bonus when it's well done, but it's not essential for me to enjoy a narrative. In this case, both aspects are rather average and basic. Not terrible, I’ve definitely seen worse on this site, but at this stage, it's not enough for me to consider it a very good or remarkable game.
To be honest, it's likely I'll forget about this game soon, and that’s not really a problem. If it improves later, I’m not completely closing the door on it either. I wish the developer good luck in these early stages, it's certainly not easy. That being said, the game doesn’t shine through its story or writing, which may be a choice or a specific direction. That’s fine too. As I said, I’m probably just not the target audience right now.
