Yes playing as 'him' and being an asshole is the main choice throughout the game, you get the most scenes and honestly they are better, the asshole route seems to be the intended/default route right now. Might change later but with this dev constantly redoing/updating/changing the game who knows when that will actually happen.I feel like I am being punished for picking the hero options by getting tons of checks failed for more content. Is this game suppose to be played as "him" for most content to unlock?
I'll be playing as 'Him' then...Yes playing as 'him' and being an asshole is the main choice throughout the game, you get the most scenes and honestly they are better, the asshole route seems to be the intended/default route right now. Judging by the game naming structure of it's assets, I'd bet it's not gonna be redone/updated/changed. Scene number this, scene number that... Option_a, option_b, etc. I've also seen "left-right-content" or something along these lines. Obviously meant to assign free roam choices, but not modifying-friendly in the long term, considering the growing number of various branching scenarios. It's hard to navigate in all of this even as a creator, if you forgot what it was meant to describe when you implemented this long ago, after some years of developing.Might change later but with this dev constantly redoing/updating/changing the game who knows when that will actually happen.
So, yeah, adding two plus two together with my message above, I'd bet that what was created by the dev was done "on the flow", first diving into the content of a personal preference. So it's unlikely there is gonna be a balanced amount of content on both sides.I feel like I am being punished for picking the hero options by getting tons of checks failed for more content. That stuff might happen with the Mc only but not with the female Li as the dev already said no ntr so that tends to mean a dev won't add in sharing/swinging content either to avoid the issues all together to avoid the issues that brings especially when trying to mix it into a harem game.Is there fucking trannys yet given them the peepee
Thank you for pointing this out!Hey dev, just wanted to point out some narrative flaws as constructive criticism. Since you said you just went back to rework some early stuff, I feel like it's the best time to point these types of things out before you move back into progressing the story.
First off, I never slept with Maia - didn't even touch her - and yet for some reason by episode 3 she's telling me how I stretch her out and acting like we're a happy couple. I've played Connect Four with her twice and brought her strawberries once. We're not a couple, we're roommates. Also, it's a minor thing, but the episode 1 recap said I didn't "punish" her... for what? We didn't do anything. Punishment never even came up. I'm wondering if that's where the wrong flag was set, possibly?
Then, with Rebecca, I agreed with her plan to just say we talked and left the city. Come episode 3, when we're forced to marry, I go to see her at her door and she's in a snit because I "refused her request" last time... which was apparently kissing her foot or something? But actually we've only talked twice: once in the hall, where I said I wasn't trying to marry her, and once on the roof, where I said "Sounds good to me" when she said to just tell the queen we talked but didn't actually have to. So, while I don't mind the plot forcing us together for a marriage (actually, Rebecca seems quite nice), it is definitely bizarre to go to her door and have her behave like she made some outrageous demands that I bluntly rejected when in fact we've only had two very brief, surprisingly civil conversations up to that point. The only plan of hers I'd ever heard was the "Just Say We Talked" plan, and I followed it willingly.
Lastly, it's a small thing, but there are definitely more than a handful of spelling errors. If it were just one or two, I wouldn't mention it. But maybe give it one more check.
All in all though, it's a fun game. Keep up the great work!
