So, haven't played the latest update but I'm curious about how it's going to work if you want to go for other girls besides Maia, I mean, it doesn't seem like she likes the idea of the MC pursuing other girls. I have a save exclusively for her because she's my favorite but I also have saves for other girls, so I guess she will always end up hurt if he decides to pursue other girls, which is pretty shitty because she's a sweetie and it just feels wrong to do that to her

Honestly, I hadn't really considered that some players would choose not to interact with the girls sexually, at least not consistently, so I didn't put in as many checks for that playstyle. What you've suggested should be simple enough to implement. I can definitely add more checks for Maia and Rebecca.

It could even lead to some funny moments, like when the MC returns from his latest quest and Maia points out he's actually never touched her before. Maybe get frustrated or something lol.

Hope this isn't rude, but another thing to consider is that some players *will* interact sexually with a character but only in a specific way. Example: I avoided all vaginal sex with Maia, and now later in the story she's talking to me like we did that. Might be a pain in the ass (pun intended) to keep track of this sort of thing but there are some players like me who really appreciate that option and the game acknowledging those choices.

Thank you! I guess I could track how many times the MC finishes in each option and use that as an indicator of whether the player prefers anal or vaginal. Thing is, I already have the variables set up and ready, just never used them for some reason...

What happened to prisoner scene? Is that type of honor- content being scrubbed for patreon or just moved for later? Seems weird to remove if trying to make MC less apathetic while going down honourless path.

Also, I'm confused by the honour system in general. Usually these things reward/penalize for half-assing instead of sticking to one or the other (and that seemed to be the case last time I played this) but the first freeroam section warns about going to far to one side. So should we be not striving for high positive or negative honor?

You can still do the prisoner scene, but now it's only available after helping her.

That warning just means it'll be hard to switch from high honor to low and vice versa. The player is still somewhat incentivized to stick with one path.

You might want to update the wording of the warning, as currently it gives the vibe too that going all in one is bad.

I've played the latest update and it's even worse than the one prior. I don't know why the author is taking this faux Disco Elysium route with internal monologues and such, because he can't do it well.

I also hate how you're basically punished for playing an honor route. You get nothing and only lose as your character becomes a moron. It's utterly meaningless.

Those are some very harsh words. I just played the new update and I can sense the dev really put in a lot of effort into revamping it. The dialogue for sure isn't the best aspect of this game, and yes I agree the internal monologue can be a bit confusing at times, but I guess the dev is planning that for something later in the story. As for the honor route, the only downside so far is you can't grope Rebecca's ass if you have more than 5. Whereas you need at least 7 to be able to do something to the giant knight when he snatched Alex up in the air. Maybe that will lead to some future favours from Alex.

So what I would say is, even though far from perfect, I can see the dev really care about this project and a lot of work has been put into it. Also the dev is consistent with an update every two months, and I applaud the effort.

You're right about the routes. I just replayed the first acts and you're still a bumbling moron even if you push for a negative honor. Which is frustrating, tbh.

Making a girl pregnant should have some variable set like if mc chooses to creampie and the probability of getting pregnant goes up by 10% or something like that. Of course that's assuming the player gets to choose if they wants pregnancy or not early on

That is the most "wait what?" moment ever lol. Like why would he even do that. But maybe it's the same inner demon that's blocking MC from remembering his past. We'll see.

So I had been playing this game for some updates now, but this latest one really revamped the game in ways that I had not expected.
I underestimated what "Improved story, characters and pacing" meant in the changelog. Clearly things like assaulting the prisoner or the queen dominating your dick off, right off the bat didn't fit smoothly, but now it feels more natural. Though the queen's dominating demeanor in the sack still feels immersion breaking when you are nothing but polite with her. Still, it's all nitpicking at this point so, kudos kabuki, the new changes were definitely an improvement.

Unfortunately, it seems I'll have to restart the game at some point again to figure out the new story flow. I was planning on it- playing the more dastardly rascal route at some point. But for now I'll still keep it on hold.

In the begging of the game after you leave the brothel Alice comes to get you but it's the Darius character model instead. Kind of jarring just thought you should know.
