Is it worth it to accept the bag of 1000 coins from Reiner, or is it better to not ?

So I finally checked out the latest version after only playing ... I believe v.0.2.1. initially? Anyways I just wanted to drop by to complement the dev. It seems like they managed to both add a heap of new content while also substantially improving existing content. The reordering and insertion of new early content does wonders for the writing pacing. I actively noticed it while replaying the story from the beginning. The render quality is also pretty great.
Some minor points though:
  • I like the sentiment of the character sheet being this in world artefact (i.e. your citizen document). But both the very idea of essentially a passport and especially the legalese fineprint seem like pretty modern things to me and kinda irk me in this medival fantasy world.
  • not a big fan of the early free roaming modes. They almost feel like filler content. Only in the dungeon when we played the nerdy game with the princess did the free roaming actually feel like actual gameplay.
  • the alignment system with honor+/honor- has an issue that tbh even irks me in some AAA games. If you just naturally roleplay your character you are very likely to end up somewhere in the middle, locked out of both high- and low-honor content. Especially in a game where the narrative is the focus this seems kind of backwards to me. You'd think as a game designer you'd want to reward this kind of roleplay where you sometimes pick honor+ and honor- options depending on the individual situation. Instead of rewarding deciding on a path in the beginning and then always sticking to it no matter what.
I want to reiterate though that I think overall it is a pretty good game. I am hyped for new updates.

The development is progressing smoothly. The next update is as big or maybe a little bigger than the initial release and should drop around the time of Christmas. I want to add two quests instead of just the one that I mentioned in update 01.

And I might be overdoing it but I also want to make some changes for update 0.1 (1.0) by adding more choices for the player. For example, in the scene where Darius pays Diana on behalf of the player, the player will now have the option to refuse going with Diana.

Thanks, being able to avoid that makes it playable. I really don't like brothels or prostitutes.
