Gosh, like, that chapter 9 ending was really quite... hurtful to go through. Especially with Aki being the players/readers perspective, aka you/me and Nichole being the "love interest". Really feeling quite bummed out about it.

I hope chapter 10 comes soon and makes up for it, otherwise I might be, like, gnawing on this for a while.

I could say more, especially about Gideon and how out of place he is in, like, man(l)y ways, and him and Elaina could be merged into a less awful character, but maybe another time, or when chapter 10 made me sad, which I hope it won't, of course. I think the game could benefit from some story paths and choices. Gosh, I hope its not going to be a memory-wipe or "It was just a dream"-type ending.

Gonna, like, withhold a rating for now, but it would be a 1 star just based on how the ninth chapter ends and the feelings it left me with. I would like to give 4-5, despite there being some scenes and characters that feel off to me, and me usually not really liking netorare content, especially on the receiving end, but a lot of Female Protagonist content involves it. So...

Maybe if chapter 10 is good? <3

I do feel the same. Ch9 left a bad taste in my mouth. Hopefully there is a resolution to it that leaves Aki happy. I am a bit stunned at how oblivious Aki is to her own power though.

Hello everyone,

Decided to finally poke my head in here again to see how it's going. It's about what I expected. I do want to clear up some of the assumptions people are coming to.

F95 users will take bad news and blow it out of proportion won't they? The dev made a choice to make a series of smaller updates while he gets his new game into a position where it has a lot of content. As opposed to one last big update to cap of the game. Yes, that sucks. But I can see the logic. He might be thinking that this is the best way to keep fans entertained while he gets the new game to a point of having a hefty amount of content. It's not about lack of faith. It's just how it is when you're starting a new project. Fans get bored and leave when you start a new project. It's why a lot of devs stretch out their game indefinitely.

The dev made a bad decision. One bad decision doesn't sudden speak to a lack integrity or manipulation.

It's really 2 things; I need to take a break from working THR:Aki and I need to make the remaining updates more manageable to make. It's daunting when I finish an update and then I realize that I need to make another 200+ images and at least 20 animations to keep it in the same scope as the prior chapters. Conceptually I understand that I don't have to do that but it feels.. wrong.

The truth in your statement is that, yes this it my way of keeping people entertained in the meantime. I'm not planning on withholding the story or anything like that. It's just going to be done over several smaller updates rather than one big one. Once the conclusion is done I'll keep adding other voted scenes for fun.

Nope, Luna isnt a sequel, or its linked to aki, it a complete new game, where the aki characters will make some minor cameo here and there, not something big. Seez plan since the beggining was made luna, aki was a way to him to learn rpg maker. He isnt abandoning the game, its just that he want to make the demo build for luna to have a good chunk of content, so its a little hard to work in both games, so he plan to do some little att in aki at the same time.

Luna is a direct sequel to THR: Aki, we just don't follow the THR cast's perspective. Outside of that, thank you for interpreting my intentions correctly. It's too much work for me to make 2 games at once and I have to be realistic in what I can produce.

I'm just making the updates smaller for my own sake while I get the framework of the next game rolling. I'm also just excited to show off what the plans are for the next game by getting a demo out. It's really not that complicated or nefarious.

I don't know if it's perhaps just the versions I downloaded (3 separate ones) but several key files are missing and to progress the story you need to skip the last bit of the prolong, and at the start of chapter 4 you are stuck and can't proceed even with the cheat menu. It seems like a good premise, but unless the files get an update I gotta give it a 3/5

Personally I don't mind. I'd rather you work on your other game, get it into a playable state that you're happy with, then come back and finish this game up whenever you feel like it instead of you just rushing the ending.

Though you have to admit, doing so after leaving the story on a cliffhanger right near the end will obviously rub a lot of people the wrong way. Either way I'm looking forward to what comes next.

I understood what you were doing with the staged betrayal and and the switcheroo. The shock i had was that it ended there.
Honestly id love to see a quick expected wrap up for this. Aki and Jake get to reconcile and have a happy ending. The holdcrafts get chewed out, forgiven and all is good and then some goodbye fucks before the leave in the portal. A happy ending would be awesome for this.
It has all the potential go to down many many rabbit holes of branching stories but that gets boring for creators too.

The game yeah has some kind of "adventure" between the main MC (the girl) and the Futa, even she has some kind of attachment to her boyfriend but i don't know what you spoils you in here (i played till chapter 5.5 on the visit to the moms shrine) but this game has kinda a message about that even the boyfriend and her they cheats on each other with the members of that family so i don't think its a NTR story this one.

While the game seems to be going on a rough path if you read the latest comments but it has been building up for a good ending even now while some "bad" events happened they are kinda necessary for the story to progress kind of like removing a nasty band aid it will hurt but is necessary

So i suggest you continue with the story even if what spoiled you discouraged you it's a great story and as you noticed it's a very rare story where there is ntr but no one really is an asshole just people who make bad decisions due to desire

I mean fair play, it's not uncommon for devs to be forced to stop making stuff because they released the last version of a product without a new game ready so everyone stops supporting them.
