This should be tagged "short AF" and "0-500 in 3 screenshots", and "pointless story that goes nowhere."

Download Daz studio and Renpy engine today, having 0 experience in either, and let me see what you can do with it in a week. That's what this is the result of, just teaching myself how to use the software that I'd never before touched in my life. Ya it's rough and has a stupid pointless story, but hey, I have a rough idea now how to navigate my way around Daz, how scripts work in renpy, and that was the only point of the project. Gotta start somewhere.

Cheers

Huh... weird... I tried to leave a positive review but it was removed as 'inappropriate', though for the life of me I can't imagine what rule I violated. Maybe someone can tell me so I don't do it again / so I can leave an appropriate positive review for this game?

=== My Review:

Lets get this out of the way:
* Its a kinetic novel, not a game.
* its short
* Its not realistic / its fetishistic
* Its very niche to very specific kinks

If that's not for you, don't play it. Cool? Cool.

So the good - if this is a fetish you enjoy, it is done well. It lewd, crude, straight to the point. This is a one-handed experience with no pretense at complex world-building, psychoanalysis, etc.

It has no bugs (well, you can't click to the next save page, which is weird, you have to use the scrollbar... but its a Renpy game so you gotta kind go out of your way to break that)

The characters not likable or dislikable (they're flat and extreme caricatures. fitting into their fetish roles).

The art is not AAA work but does the work it is meant to do - again, lewd, crude, unapologetic, there to get you off and move on.

Could this have just been made into a comic? Absolutely. Will you remember this game? Mmm.. once in a while, when the urge hits you and you don't want to work your way through a long story. Does it do what it says on the tin? Yup. Is it 'problematic'? Sure, but no one got hurt, everything is problematic, and it is VERY clear what this is so if you played it anyway... I don't know what to tell you.

I did see your review. There were a couple other not terrible ones other folks left as well that are gone now, leaving only the one stars. Maybe one of the higher ups hates it that much :ROFLMAO:

Appreciate it either way. I'm only just learning Daz and Renpy, only a month in so I knew these were bad and poorly done, but they were mostly proof of concept. The fact that I rendered them and was able to put them into a sequence and learn how to add dialogue and character functions in Renpy was just proving to myself that I could actually figure it out and do it. It was just slapped together with no actual effort put into the story or dialogue, I just wanted to see if I could learn to script it in renpy and that the actual finished product would even open lol! I'm not sure how I broke the next save page thing, I didn't even realize it wasn't working but I'll keep that in mind for future projects.

Part 3 is in the process right now. It's mostly more of the same, just exploring a few more features of renpy, and expanding on a smoother workflow in daz, more learning, but I think folks will notice a massive jump in polish between 1 and 3.

My first actual game is in the early stages and I can now take all the things I've learned, refine them and create something actually worth putting a real effort into.

Thanks for the review and the support!

Oh damn! Well done! Totally don't put yourself down, its totally fine and on par with people who've worked on these things for a lot longer. Even more impressive that you were just starting out! Honestly the stuff I mentioned was just descriptive, not downsides - its cool to have content like this, serves as a great aperitif between those really big / deep games that you gotta block out days and days to get through. I am looking forward to the 3rd one, and 4th, and however many - and as you get more comfortable hopefully they'll get pulled together into a single piece of content.

And yea, if that's happened with other positive reviews, just ignore the star rating. You're doing good, its within all the rules I know about for this site, and you have people enjoying what you're working on!

Hey thanks! Ya I would never put myself down. Considering I have no prior experience in 3d art or coding, I'm extremely proud of my progress in such a short time frame. Haters are gonna hate, and that's just the internet.

Totally agree though, sometimes short, quick read throughs are a nice change from a big long drawn out game, and other times the big long experience is what you want. All depends on the person and the circumstances! I'll probably have 3 finished by the end of the week.

I appreciate you!!
