Bug fix for possible inifinite loop at the lab.
Please apply the quick fix 1 attached to this post.
Extract the zip file to your HI\game folder and overwrite files when asked.

Talk to Miriam at the lifeguard tower and ask to take a walk on the beach with you.
You might have to take several walks with her.
Upload a save game where you get your crash when buying an item from the store and I will have a look. Although you probably used the console and borked something.

The mod is a cheat tool for the main game Holiday Island.

On PC: Extract the content of the attached zip file into the folder where you installed your Holiday Island main game.
On a Mac: Navigate further down in the folder where you installed your Holiday Island game, until you see a folder named game. Extract the content into this folder (not into the folder named game, but into the folder where you can see "game" as a folder).

This is the new version 0.1.3 of the companion mod for Holiday Island ver. 0.3.1.x and later.

The mod is a cheat tool for the main game Holiday Island.
Some of you might already know earlier versions of the mod. So here is a list of what the mod can do and of what's new.
- the mod can always be used, even in the middle of a scene or an event
- it offers a variety of option to change attributes of the player (MC)
- first name and last name can be changed (bugs have been fixed now)
- all effects (good or bad) can be added and removed with the click of a mouse. If an effect has several levels, clicking on the effect another time will increase the effect strength
- all player attributes like strength, endurance, lust, etc. can be adjusted - it offers a lot of possibilities to change the stats of each girl
- you can switch between outfits (use at your own risk during a scene, you might get crashes or missing images).
- room number, breast size, poker skill, almost anything can be made visible or adjusted
- all the regular stats like affection, love, lust can be changed too - every non quest item you can buy or get through other means can be added to your inventory with the "inventory manager" of the mod
- it now displays the location of each (regular) girl and even allows to change it
- it allows to switch the general cheats on and off (rollback at hotshots and you can see who has teh winning hand at poker)
- Sara's special self tan lotion can be added once you have finished the quest line

I think I have cheated the info so I have a active Quests to find something out what I have (breast & age).
Aso I have cheated by Sara (breast & birthday) please make sure that when you cheated it is not gamebreaking.
Maybe you can make it for the future when something like this is he check your save and update the quest (it is done) or delete the stats info (with messages that it get deleted and we have to ask manually) it like the pics we need to get again because you have changed something.
Not that you have to it all manually in the Companion mod automatic with the save update.

Firstly, many thanks for the big update, Darkhound! I am very much looking forward to seeing all the new content and have started playing already.
I have encountered two oddities that, I think, have nothing to do with the update. "Missing out" on a date:
The other thing is when Amy asks you for multiple, mutually exclusive appointments (dinner, yoga vs. stay the night). Had I agreed to the first three in this case, I would have received two angry texts I suppose. In my imagination, Amy is more intelligent than that. Or is she just "testing" me? Maybe the algorithm that generates these random appointments should check on this?

2 things I ran into with this version.
Jessica pole dance. The locations box is present throughout the scene. I managed to click on cum underneath.
Natashia breast milk visit. I go to sleep at 2 am and am awakened. The start time is 1:30 and on the clock.
Scene finishes at the normal time.

I will try to simplify, but I did write it as simply as I could.
In the holiday island folder, you will find a folder called "game", inside that you will find a folder called "saves"
Here you will find your save files, also a file called "persistent" delete the file called persistent.
In your main drive folder (usually C:) you will find a folder called "User" inside that will be a folder which is your user name for that computer go inside that folder then "appdata", "roaming", " renpy", "island-1499865023" or maybe a different number but it will be this folder.
Again, here you will find your save files, also a file called "persistent" delete the file called persistent.
Go back and start the game again.

Getting some things to work as they would in real life requires a lot of programming.
Some things you just have to accept, like girls coming back to the island after you sent them away not remembering you.
Not really that hard to think that you can not accept an invitation to more than one event at a time with a girl.
For a man of Darkound's talents, I am sure he could fix these, but would take a lot of time for what could be considered a minor point in the game, preventing any new content from being made for some time.
Personally, I would more like new content and then when he can fit it in fix minor bits like this
This is strange. Are you sure you didn't go to the pool half an hour earlier?
Normally when you go somewhere the meeing takes place, it is automatically triggered and shouldn't result in a missed date action.
Do you maybe still have a save file I could check?
About the Amy and multiple appointments thing.
It would be extremely complex to fix this, since the information is not available or stored right now when the check for a missed appointment is done.
In addition, it is not known in advance how long an appointment will take exactly.
Will be fixed with the next update.

Yes, I do. See my message. I was at the pool since 10:00 and asked Jessica to take the sun lounger besides me at 12:00 - the time of our date. It seems the angry text sometimes arrives at 13:00, sometimes at 13:30. But it reproducibly occurs.

Thanks! The problem is I don't have any save files, nor the "appdata" etc. folders. The game still won't start. What can I do?
