The bug has been there for some time now. It doesn't happen every time. It depends on how and when the event is triggered. In any case it will be fixed with 0.0.9.3.
What type of problems are you having with MEGA, it's always the most reliable for me. You might want to try using MegaDownloader, It's a program that can bypass the mega cap but it may solve whatever issue you may have.
