This bug is already fixed and explained:

ScriptError: could not find label 'dinner_event_end' --> Accidentially an old file got into the update to 0.1.5.1. Sorry for that. You can download the quick fix file "appointments.rpyc" attached to this post to get rid of the error --> will be fixed with 0.1.5.2 beta

Yeah, haven't sent you to the proper post ... is in this one where you can download the quickfix until the new version is released:

Download the appointments.rpyc and copy it to the folder where you installed the companion.

Happened to me too.
It might be because I had low lust, I rolled back, increase my lust ( console shit+O type in player.lust = xxx ) and played the scene again w/o crash.

No, there isn't any action. 600+ patrons pay the dev because they need to loose the money.

If you mean the girls no. It only influence the batch of first girls you get and maybe the one you meet on the plane to the island.

what are these "follow me" renders and how can i get them

It's nothing super great. It's an intermediate image when you ask the girl to train with you in the gym, or take a walk on the beach. She starts walking, then looks back and asks if you're going to "follow her".

Save your game right when the wheel stops on 'Quarters'. Then you can just keep trying again and again. The first click on the hand is critical as you have to be shooting dead straight. Depth and force, try and get them at maximum value or farthest away from the glass. There is a HUGE amount of luck involved. I can say the scene is definitely worth the effort. Good luck!

If you really want to cheat, you can use the console code
g_cheats_enabled = True
It will remove almost all of the rollback blocks in the hot shots game. Then you can just rollback and try again without having to save/reload.
