If you followed where to put the functions.rpyc file, it should work really...
Open the folder where you installed Holiday Islands. Inside that folder should be a folder called "Game". Put the functions.rpyc file inside the "Game" folder.

Mhm, this game has a lot of potential so I'll stick around and hope for a few quality of life improvements.
The animated scenes seem pretty few and far apart, but what's worse is the replays are so well hidden I hardly ever find them. Loads of stuff seem just a bit too cumbersome as it stands, like after searching around the forum for half an hour I just gave up on the Picture Frames in my room, like I have no idea how to use them.

After chatting more, I believe this scene was supposed to end, but instead I have these two options, which for now end bad for me and I have no option to avoid this choice.

It is hidden down in the comments, so no real way of knowing unless browsing them (random that I noticed it myself).

The minor issues list that Rel 5.1 will cover seems to include,
  • (typos) While listening to rumors with Amy and Yvette about the body building magazine
  • (zoom) Yvette at the pool and you check out her assets, the zoom goes to the upper left corner of the picture instead focusing on her.
  • (wrong names) When Jessica is introduced at the tit fight, It displays Jennifer's name and comments thanking Mercedes for the introduction. Also at the end of Jessica's introduction, the name shows as Jennifer.
Am sure darkhound1 will add them to the main post's bug list when he has time, just as was done in prior releases

Might as well add another minor one: when talking to Jennifer again about the clamps because you forgot how to operate them while helping a girl, the screen goes black as if all the images for the interaction were missing (the text is still there and the game continues normally after you exit the conversation).

After a quick search it seems that Windows 10 and 11 use the same kernel prefix of 10.0, so I don't think that is the issue (I'm also a moron so take that with a grain of salt). I have tried three different downloads, including the Mega on Darkhound's post (Google Drive is blocking the other one while traffic is high). Any other suggestions?

Make sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.
After that, I'm afraid I can not suggest anything more.

She should show up in the "character selection" window in the phone if she's on the island, right? she's not there. I think my save is bugged or something at this point, cuz I also can't ask Jessica to apply sun lotion on her back at the pool despite me having plenty sun lotion bottles... I really don't wanna start all over again if it's some kind of bug...

is there a bug with the ksill increase book button? no materhow many time i try to increase any statit never happen, i'm stuck af 10 night in a rawtrying to improvcharm and nothing move

I'm pretty sure that guy was just trying to be helpful for those who clearly aren't going to bother searching the thread. There are a number of people who post answers to common questions here that have been asked and answered by darkhound multiple times, this is one of those questions. (the same questions usually show up in bursts for the week or two following an update)

Darkhound was responding to bug reports multiple times on the last page, so I'd recommend working on your situational awareness stat.

Yeah, you'd think that a game with 900+ pages of comments would have fairly accurate tags.

Check the Companion guide, it will help you set that up. The task is part of your phone app.
