Just started this one. Looks like every girl in this game has a bad case of BBS (Big Boobs Syndrome) haha, not that i mind. Will see if the game manages to hold my attention

Yes, big boobs everywhere in this game. I wished more big asses with large hips and huge bubble butt (exaggerated size as boobs size), but there is not. Maybe for a futur new caracter.

Version 0.5.0.0 - development news (updated 30th of March 2025)

Hi guys and gals,
this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.5.0.0).
You can see the main focus and side areas for the next update in the above image.
The change log below is based on the release 0.4.5.0.

As of right now, the update from 0.4.5.0 to 0.5.0.0 has:
1039 additional renders, videos or sound files (only includes post worked, finished renders)
20 new backgrounds for the phone
153 updated renders or videos

New features, major improvements and new content

• The listen to chat and rumors function will be very much extended. For details, please check this post -> still working on it
• Joy, the winner of the titfight event will get a special evening and night with our hero -> still working on it (renders 95% done, post work 95% done, writing 90% done)
• There will be a huge titfight event at the bar with all the specials and some guests -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Joy gets a pole dance posing scene in the night bar's pink room -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Mercedes gets a short event at the MC's where she invites him to the titfight event at the bar. -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Jessica gets a new room service event with two achievements -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Amy gets another "stay overnight" appointment at her room that's using the same base renders as her existing one, but with some new renders, an additional achievement and changed texts -> will be part of 0.5.0
• A new sub location for pool billiard will be added to the night bar and Amy will get a repeatable scene with three achievements. She's wearing her special dress during the game -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire gets a new drink scene at a table near the bar wearing her regular dress. The scene has three achievements and a story about a day at the beach with her twin sister Passion. -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire will get a new nightbar drink scene on the red sofa wearing her sexy clothes. The scene will have three achievements with a story and a happy ending. -> will be part of 0.5.0
• A new, extended intro dialogue will be added for all characters that have matching attributes (like body type, breast size or height). During the dialogue, the girls will get additional affection points based on matching attributes. This will reduce the grind in the beginning of the game.

Minor improvements and changes (including image upgrades)

• There can now be mandatory appointments that will trigger automatically at any time of day. -> will be part of 0.5.0
• The wait time between picture minigame messages hast been changed from two days to (on average) one day -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Faye's pool exit scenes have been re-rendered in 2560x1440 and webp format -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Amy gest a short scene wearing her special evening dress and walking along the hallway with the MC -> will be part of 0.5.0
• Desire's room service images have been upscaled and the animations have been improved -> will be part of 0.5.0

• Renée's scene at the nightbar in the green room gets an extension (additional position in the couch) -> will be part of 0.5.0

Bug fixes

• When Amy shows up during Yvette's weight lifting scene when you adjust the weights, a black image is shown -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• When asking for an erotic massage and one of the checks (lust, love, affection) failed, the game got stuck -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• In some cases, not all "guess who" pictures were shown -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• A bug has been fixed where you could get stuck during Miram's breast quest -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• Mia's event where she leaves the island could be triggered before her lab scene at the pool -> will be fixed with 0.5.0
• The arm wrestling icon in the night bar wasn't showing all available scenes -> will be fixed with 0.5.0

So after playing this a bit i got some thoughts:
There is only one girl in this entire game that i like, Lacey. She was the one that got me to try this game out in the first place. Unfortunatelly, she doesn't have any sex scenes from what i could tell. Delizia is the only other girl i would even consider.
The game is a chore to play, you got to do specific activities with each individual girl numerous times in order to max out their stats. For this reason alone i will probably drop the game as i don't have that kind of time to spend on one game.
Story is non-existent, all you do is talk to girls about their past and stuff and nothing moves forward, at least not that i could tell.
Honestly overall apart from girls looking good there isn't much here and i find it rather boring so sadly now after finishing all of Lacey's quests i don't have much desire to continue and will pass on this for now, i might eventually come back if Lacey gets any sex scenes as she is the only girl im interested in from all of these

I have to agree with you though that there isn't much of a story, and what is there is rather shallow - same as girl's personalities. Even Twilight would be a better read imho.
Still, the visuals are nice and there are quite a few hot scenes in here. If there's only one or two girls you like at all though, it probably will never be worth your time.

If you meant to adress me, thanks, I'm aware of all that and have replayed the game several times. I just oversimplified because they didn't seem interested in putting that much effort into the game in the first place.

The difference being that darkhound does this as a hobby while DPC makes a living out of it.

Not sure what you are describing or asking, however based on some previously known issues, the first question that has to be asked is ... have you updated the game from v.0.4.5.0 to v.0.4.5.1?

v.0.4.5.1 is the release that has all the latest bugfixes. If you are unsure, check your Traceback report, as it will tell you what version of the game you are playing. You can find just the update linked on the first page of this thread or the developer's Patreon page.

Injuring your ankle has nothing to do with Jennifer's sailboat. Since it appears you have just started the game, injuring you ankle doesn't happen until after day 45. Your best bet is to download and read the Companion Guide linked on the first page of this thread. It has lots of tips, tricks and hints and will probably answer 98% of the questions you have.
