She has not been marked as 'completed' by the dev, so technically it is possible to get Ivy updates. But I wouldn't think she would be a priority. She is not mentioned in the 5.2.0 development news.

How is it, you give them a save file, even it has a link to it on the first post for the game thread ... yet they still ask

I have a much better idea - You create your own game. Add all the girls you want with state of the art animation and I guarantee that you will get people to play your game.
I SHOULD WARN YOU HOWEVER - please plan to spend hundreds of hours in development. Spend countless hours of repetitve time of creating multiple scenes and actions all while writing a plot & dialog script. Then after releasing the game spend even more time in improving the game. And don't forget the cost of software as well as the learning time to perfect your characters and animation. Then after you post the game you get to listen to random individuals complain about your game and what "it really needs to be better".
Good luck with that and keep us all updated on your progress.
yes this is snarky - if you don't realize the amount of effort and time the Dev has spent just by simply playing or even researching this forum you're misguided as to what it takes for a passionate hobby that is done for free.

Hi all, this actually may be one of those dumb questions, and I know we're not big fans of folks asking for saves, but...
Might anyone know how to load a save file on to Android? I close to completed all the scenes on PC a number of years back around the 3.0 days, started a new game recently at 4.5 and close to completed it on my previous phone, and now with a new phone I'd kind of prefer to not have to replay everything again from scratch.
If anyone knows how to load a save file on to android I'd be most appreciative, if it's even possible. If not, cest la vie.

I hear the only way it can be done is if your phone is "rooted" or jail-broke.....I REALLY don't think you want to do that to a brand spankin' new phone!!!

Does this still have the insane design choice that prevents you filling the island and requires you to switch occupants in/out all the time?
I remember this being very grindy and very temperamental when I played it last, but that was a few years back. My memory is now complaining about the endless breakfast scenes that never unlocked anything and ZZzzzzz.sdf sdfadgg,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

My first impression was that this was yet another troll post, but after rereading it, I've come to the conclusion it is an opinion post with some snarky and judgy elements. Since I'm feeling magnanimous today, I'll try to refrain from an equally judgy/snarky reply and try to address your issues, at least on some level.
With regard to the inability to have all the island girls on the island at once and the need to rotate island girls on and off the island, there are logistical in-game QOL reasons for doing that, as well as a significant amount of content associated with particular girls leaving and returning; beyond that, I'll leave it to Darkhound to address the particulars of that in more detail, if he is so inclined, since after all it is his "design choice".
With regard to "grindiness", honestly this game is as grindy (or not) as the player chooses to make it, based on their playing style and choices. There is an unbelievable amount of content in this game; some of it with prerequisite dependencies, but much of it without any prerequisites. Players who approach the game with a "linear completionist" playing style are probably going to find the game pretty grindy based on their playing style. On the other hand, players who take a more "Zen" approach and basically "let the game come to them" while using the information found in the Companion Guide (see OP for link) to help them complete certain in-game achievements along the way will be much less likely to find this game grindy at all, and will get hours of entertainment from playing it.
And finally, with regard to the game being "very temperamental", I'm inclined to think that was basically a bullshit comment included in your post for rhetorical purposes. That's just not this game's reputation. Its backward compatibility with saves from previous versions going back to versions from the early days of the game is among the very best on this site. It has a quasi-official, Dev-supported mod (Companion Mod, see link in the OP) that is mature, stable, and compatible/well integrated with the game with very few revisions since the early days of the game. The beta testing process for game updates is excellent, and any identified bugs from each update release are quickly addressed and patched in a subsequent bug-fix version that is typically released within two weeks or so of the initial update release.
While this game has something in it for almost everyone, not everyone is going to find it appealing, and that's okay; there are lots of games out there, to cater to pretty much every taste. So, try Holiday Island again... or not. It's all good either way.
