Hello everyone!

This is the new version 0.1.5.1 of the companion mod for Holiday Island ver. 0.3.6.x and later.
The mod has been created by Niceerotica and myself.

The mod is a cheat tool for the main game Holiday Island.
Some of you might already know earlier versions of the mod. So here is a list of what the mod can do and of what's new.
  • the mod can always be used, even in the middle of a scene or an event
  • it offers a variety of option to change attributes of the player (MC)
    - first name and last name can be changed (bugs have been fixed now)
    - all effects (good or bad) can be added and removed with the click of a mouse. If an effect has several levels, clicking on the effect another time will increase the effect strength
    - all player attributes like strength, endurance, lust, etc. can be adjusted
  • it offers a lot of possibilities to change the stats of each girl
    - you can switch between outfits (use at your own risk during a scene, you might get crashes or missing images).
    - room number, breast size, poker skill, almost anything can be made visible or adjusted
    - all the regular stats like affection, love, lust can be changed too
  • every non quest item you can buy or get through other means can be added to your inventory with the "inventory manager" of the mod
  • it now displays the location of each (regular) girl and even allows to change it
  • it allows to switch the general cheats on and off (rollback at hotshots and you can see who has teh winning hand at poker)
  • Sara's special self tan lotion can be added once you have finished the quest line
How to "install" the mod:
On PC: Extract the content of the attached zip file into the sub folder "game" of the folder where you installed your Holiday Island main game.
On a Mac: Navigate further down in the folder where you installed your Holiday Island game, until you see a folder named game. Extract the content into the folder named game.

If you used a previous version of the companion mod:
Delete the fiel named "niceerotica_companion.rpyc" which you can find in the above mentioned "game" folder. If you want, you can also delete the fodler <HI>/game/images/nemod, since it is no longer required. Leaving it in place will also not cause any problems.

did I do something wrong with this file, downloaded, extracted it but only see one file in the folder, an rpa file ?

Just wondering, what timers are meant here? Stuff like how long MC didn't ejaculate regarding sperm congestion scenes, or do I have to worry about anything more inconvenient?

hey darkhound1 IDK if it's bugging out exactly but I can't seem to trigger the 2nd Amy beach bar scene. It even displays that I'm passing Amy stat checks after the scene with yumiko but Amy just isn't showing up afterwards like she did the first time

Not bugged as per beta test.
Probably a case of bad luck with the randomness.
What I would do : at the beach when Amy is there, do a quick save, go to the beach bar and if Amy doesn't show up, quick load.

I see the changelog mentionning a lot of "IA upgrade". Is it just an upscaling of the original image to improve the resolution of the render or does it goes beyond that ?

Interesting question here.
Have not tested this function/option nor was piqued to but, it is valid.
Something the Lab(and some of the gals) seemingly would Fight each other to fix. :ROFLMAO:

With focus and work on 're-rendering' or 're'updating scenes.
"Updated information" may take back-seat with content progression.
Kind'a like that of some quest(s) status' appearing to never change: "will continue in future updates".

However, vaginal sex may never be implemented for the fix.
Would seem as if, it's a lower preference when boob's and everything else takes priority on this title.
Well it could be worse like, shoulders?

There are multiple scenarios and outcomes.

1. Direct AI upscale

2. Render and AI upscale

3. Redo and overhaul the entire damn thing, then upscale

Darkhound1 did some 1. ran into a lot of 2. and was tempted a fair deal by 3.
So all 3 are there.

Things under New features, major improvements and new content are high likely to be a lot of type 2 and involve some amount of type 3 or even being almost entirely type 3 with little type 2.

Things under Minor improvements and changes (inlcuding AI upgrades) are type 1 or 2.

What I saw from a quick play, (while women and kids were burring the Parrot) the overall quality of pictures improved, even noticable with my banana PC and Monitor (40 inch TV) res 1280 max so yeah there has been done a lot

already tried that a few times but I guess I can just keep trying
What's weird is that sometimes there is no stat check, which is when I assume the RNG determines she doesn't show up, and sometimes there are stat checks but I keep trying dozens of times and still she doesn't show up
