Version 0.4.0.0 - development news (updated 29 of July 2023)

Hi guys and gals,
this post offers you a collection of news about the next version of Holiday Island (0.4.0.0).
You can see the main focus and side areas for the next update in the above image.

The change log below is based on the release 0.3.8.0.
As of right now, the update from 0.3.8.0 to 0.4.0.0 has:
154 additional renders, videos or sound files
2 new backgrounds for the phone
17 updated renders

New features, major improvements and new content
  • Mia gets an event in the lab's kitchen where she talks with the MC --> still working on it
  • Brenda gets an appointment in the MC's room to celebrate an anniversary. The scene will partially reuse existing renders and add some new ones. --> still working on it
  • Brenda gets a quest line about her background --> still working on it
  • Renée gets a remade arrival scene with lots of new images and a short story --> still working on it (renders are done)
  • Amy's poker scene has been remade and a lot of new images and dialogue has been added --> still working on it (renders are done)
  • Mercedes gets a new event where she picks up the MC and they visit the lab for another checkup --> still working on it (renders are mostly done)
  • Sara talks to the MC down at the lab and they walk to the infirmary for another blood sample --> still working on it (renders are done)
  • Jennifer gets a new event in the photo studio where she's posing in a sling bikini --> still working on it (renders are mostly done)
  • Brenda gets a remade workout pullups scene --> still working on it (renders are mostly done)
  • Brenda gets a new plane intro with almost 20 images --> still working on it (renders are mostly done)
  • Brenda gets a photo shot event with Jennifer in the photo studio --> still working on it (renders are mostly done)
  • Brenda gets a new event in the hallway where she's on her way to Joy --> still working on it (renders are done)
  • Brenda gets a beach pose scene in her skimpy bikini with two achievements --> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets an update to her beach walk scene with additional renders and two achievements --> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Desire gets an update to her sperm congestion scene with new renders in webp format --> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Brenda gets a remade congestion scene with 2 achievements --> will be part of 0.4.0.0
  • Lacey gets a long sperm congestion scene with 4 achievements --> will be part of 0.4.0.0
Minor improvements and changes (including AI upgrades)


Bug fixes
  • The "shuffle displayed girls" button sometimes resulted in no change to the displayed girls --> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Under certain circumstances, an arrival scene for one girl could be shown two days in a row --> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • The icon to mark cards is placed over the trophy icon, making only one of the two useable --> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0
  • Switching on the randomization for the phone background leads to a crash, every time the background is switched --> will be fixed with 0.4.0.0

Thanks for the answer! I guess I'll have to list what I got to check what I'm missing...

- Sara's 5 Context pics: 2 in a cheerleading outfit, 3 in her red and black dress (one of which with a dildo).

- Yvette's 13 Context pics: 4 in light blue lingerie, 2 in dark blue lingerie, 3 of her sister, 1 half-naked in her white and pink dress, 1 at the pool with Alice, 1 at the pool with a redhead, 1 in the waitress outfit.

If it's not specific enough I'll take screenshots!

Sara, you're missing this one, I don't remember how to get it. Maybe after requesting the tan line remover lotion ?

Will there ever be full sex with every woman? I mean this game is from 2017 and still, you can't bang them all.
What's the problem? Too much to ask?

It's not a brothel. The game is not about sex with random girls, but achievements. There is a tier system for a reason regarding them. The Dev (DH) has taken suggestions and polls about the girls and has placed emphasis on the more popular. Over the years he has added content to all the girls. while adding new girls for more flavor. As an example, if you read the latest update to v4.0 you will see Brenda is getting some hefty increases. If he wanted a game so users can whack it, he wouldn't have put so much into character development and scenes. Please remember DH creates in his spare time so yes "too much to ask".

Bob asked the exact same thing,

Will there ever be full sex with all the players? Most of them are from before 2005 and still, he cannot bang them all.
What's the problem? They need to learn non-binary eventually and who else has the tentacles for it.
