I think his DirectX installs needs a reinstall or update

The problem with that, would be that Micro-shaft now controls DX updates. And they CAN get it wrong.

Many people in recent months (Nov' 20 - current) have stated in other threads/sites that using the Ren'Py DX update has changed their performance with DirectX.

I'll highlight a fundamental problem, which would persist even there was no other issue.
I cannot make Renee.

Renee is very fair skinned, sharp featured (both face and body) and sports a high contrast look.
Which is pretty much the polar opposite of everything I do (tan, soft featured, gentle, low contrast).

To illustrate, take Heather, she is the closest we come amongst those I use and she is a good example to my approach to that particular style.

Heather as an example
"My" Heather is softly tanned, with a gentle face and features, and generally a much softer version than the original. She is a older, more gentle and calm Heather.

The Fan art Heather only appears to be Heather, but she is not, it is an illusion. They are quite different and meant to be different.

Fan Art Heather is actually Duckswim Heather.

Renee again
So the only way I could create "Renee'ish" would be through brute force and huge expenditure of time to try and force the random chance event of a match to occur.

(I have neither the time nor wish to try such a costly and error prone approach currently)
