I would say this is true of most (all?) of DoV games. Like you could straight up remove all the porn from most of their games and still have an enjoyable mystery/horror story. So the porn is just like an added bonus thrown in throughout the story.

No, its more about popularity. Even with games having devs directly interacting here you will see near instant release of pirated version if its a famous game or atleast a game with large number of members in patreon.
You are correct. For instance, "Of Birds and Bees" gets leaked within a couple of days. Holly just isn't as popular

Because one of your supporter upload posts form patreon in to kemono portal. Patreon is not a nice place for creatores and only Subscribestar is safe.
Thats only a half truth, kemono allready figured out how to import from suscribestar, thing is, that service is much more difficult to import from and requieres a lot more computing power, its not worth it for now, if all artist would go there then it would be worth the hassle and they would get their stuff leaked too, the only way to really protect your content is password locked files and sharing that password by dm, its not perfect as kemono can also track that but 50% of the time they dont get imported for some reason.
Discord used to be a good alternative too but kemono has really good discord importers now so thats out of the question too.
All and all i believe this game is not as popular as the other one, thats why it hasnt been leaked.

Thanks for taking the time to answer mate but hum... what's that 0/2 update? I just discovered this game and am not familiar with the way versions are numbered (I keep seeing 3of5 and 4/10 and I have no idea what it means).

0/2 is like version 0.2 second update of game in case you missed it. this game will have many endings and depends on your choices in 0.2 you get them. the dev said make many saves with each choice .
