There will be one ending, where if I hit the emotional notes right (Its impossible to know better untill my playtesters get to it), it will feel too mean. It truelly is on the Japanese grindset

Well I've played through the current ending and well... it was a thing that happened. That's all of the positives points I can list about it.

Totally didn't bother trying to resolve the only character's story that I cared about seeing finished. Why did Emilie send him the tapes in the first place, and what does it mean for her to be "let go" if she's a being held captive as a sex slave? Instead it was a big pile of nothing.

There's only a few choices total that determine the endings

There is quite a lot before the first choice. Version 1 of the game had 0 choices, but there are choices that will change where the story goes as another user pointed out with multiple long endings that are currently being written.
