I personally find that the protagonist in Peperoncino's games says far too much and has enough of an established personality (not to mention a canonical appearance and in-game sprite) to be a self-insert type of character in a lot of cases. He's a guy in a specific type of circumstance and a specific attitude that lets him do the stuff he does in-game.
I usually self-insert even if just that appearance part is missing, or if the MC has the standard issue Hentai MC haircut(tm) since I treat that as the devs telling me "Hey, you're kinda supposed to be self-inserting here," but the protagonists in both Holy Road games don't fit into either instance, at least for me.

I downloaded the game a while ago and wanted to play it for the first time. But honestly...the character reminds me more of a pig. URGH, delete it immediately!

I think I found both dlc files, but can't find a version that works with them, English version (this one) doesn't work for sure.
UPD: Nevermind, managed to find a Japanese Version that works, included side by side comparison of the gallery. You'll need a version 1.17.9.28 (version 1.17.7.11 doesn't work, same as 1.18.8.8 Holy Road)

Take it with a grain of salt because I didn't get a chance to play it, only checked the differences in galleries.
If someone wants only the DLC files:
patch_1.xp3 - this is the 1st DLC
patch_2.xp3 - this is the 2nd DLC
P.S. I managed it to work on Locale.Emulator v 2.5.0.1, check F95 page on how to run Japanese Games if you're having a problem.
I never knew I'd see the day when I'm able to play the DLCs for this game! I saw the CGs of the characters within it but it was still out of reach.
Now I just hope that this game is compatible with Textractor so I can read it at least somewhat.

But if I can make one more request, do you happen to have a save file with all the scenes unlocked for at least the DLC characters?

No, I haven't played it myself yet. I have only 100% gallery for Holy Road i.e without dlc
I see. I say that because those requirements to access the characters in the first place involve certain buildings and village statistics, and I didn't think I can do that since Textractor doesn't work on RPG elements and I can't be sure what exactly to do to unlock the DLC characters.
If you ever do get to playing it and unlock all the DLC scenes, or find a save file for them elsewhere, do let me know if that's alright.

Hello all. Would like to share a guide that I found in the web (posted by an anonymous user in the f95) with a few parts added by me. Still missing 2 scenes of Aria, any ideas?
With this guide got all heroines scenes (except Aria) and most of the endings.
The 3 options when you get a girl pregnant (or 2 if you convict them as witch)
Brothel - earnings from brothel increases
Convert - More H, and condition for Virgin Lode ending.
Aria's toy - Aria likes you more.
Development tier:
Village - default
Town - population reaches 50
City - 100
Metropolis - 500
The higher your tier is, the more buildings you can make, some building require materials from other building first, but you can see which is which just by looking at the icon.
Each girl has an appearance condition, confession condition and marriage condition.
To get the option to convert them, you need to get them to confess before you fulfill their marriage condition.
Each girl has 8 scenes:
- right of the first night: have the girl marry
- indoctrination 1 and 2: go preach 2x
- conversion service 1 and 2: confess/ choose a girl 2x
- Inquisition 1 and 2: after you meet the girl for the 1st time, go witch hunt 2x
- torture: give to Aria
1. Liese (shepherdess)
Appearance - Build a farm then perform Charity.
Confession - None (you can go to the booth and she'll confess)
Marriage - Build 2 farms.
2. Monica
A - 2 Houses -> Perform a mass.
C - 60+ Faith
M - (Public) Security 60+
3. Lei Xin
A - Plaza -> Go preach. (yes, the same one you go sex the wives)
C - 70+ Faith
M - Have 6+ 民芸品 (Folk crafted item)
4. Elemine
A - Watchtower -> Hunt heretics
C - Security 60+
M - 2 Market
5. Sophie
A - Abbey -> 'oil coating' service (the action unlocked by building the abbey)
C - Faith 80+
M - 3 Windmill
6. Rita
A - Craftsman quarter -> go preach
C - Faith 100+
M - 4 Craftsman quarter
7. Count Raymont
A - Church -> gather mercenaries.
C - 90+ Commodity

Can I get game directions for this game, for some reason when playing it I always Game Over on certain turns, even though I always try not to make the Victim open his mouth, or lose when my territory is attacked, or even the allocation of resources, I am quite sure that my population is quite large

Little hints for obtain Fiona/Airy:
-Yes, you can unlock Fiona with LAW less than 90, but you can confess her only with LAW less than 30(to raise again the LAW really fast train inquisitors as much as you can, in order to prevent attacks);
-The barracks require almost 4 turn as completion;
-To unlock Airy marriage, the palace requires almost 5-6 turns, so be sure to have enough time before to reach turn 50, if you want to convert her before that.
