It's fucking wild seeing an ExS-Tia game actually getting translated, but it's kinda weird they didn't begin with the first one.

I've never played this Concerto series but I have fond memories of the original and it's sequels.

EDIT: Yeah, I see the 3rd one but not the first two on steam and their website, sad.

whats the "combat" like?
no real hints besides dev notes mention "monster using different abilities"
are there actual combat mechanics or is it just part of the story?

That is wrong then, those titles should have the VN prefix tag because that is what they are. Just because they have gameplay elements doesn't mean they aren't visual novels, that is just failed logic.
