I'm not sure what you just said, but imagine wanting to play a JRPG and you get a choose your own adventure. That's how I feel about games with the incest tag where all it is is you manually inputting variables that the writing doesn't account for.

"But you're my ___."
"Hey, ___, could you help me out."
"___, have you seen my keys?"
"No, ask your ___, he might know."

Mom and Dad fit in all of these spaces, except for when they don't need to be capitolized. But Stepmom, Landlady, Sister, Etc? That never sounds right.

If your reasoning is considered, most games should not be considered incest, including those that need a patch (many have bad dialogue and often don't make sense).

I noticed that most patches or manual relationship configurations work perfectly or close to perfect when using English, however when they are translated into another language (in my case Portuguese) they rarely work correctly, I always have to correct the dialogs manually.

Most of the ones that need, and have their own incest patch are tolerable. Like Away from Home, that's a good example of a game that does it right. Patches can fix all the grammar pitfalls. But the games that give you several prompts for multiple characters are pathetic. More often than not they make you decide on a relationship without knowing anything about the character yet. A game called "V-7" was the worst I'd ever seen for doing that.

After Patreon it's difficult to have any game with perfect incest dialogues, as you said they are at most "tolerable"

This will only change when Patreon stops supporting porn in general

That sounds like a mashup of My Best Deal, The Awakening, and Spellbook, though it doesn't fit any one of them perfectly. It's probably not any of those games, but they are all worth a play. ;)
(edit) I actually just saw the toon part of your question. If it's RPGmaker 2d art style, it's probably Town of Passion by sirens domain.

To me, the description sorta matches up to My Best Deal, The Awakening (both already mentioned by Bloodguard), or A Clever Name (abandoned). And I think the third one mentioned above was The Spellbook (just to give you the direct thread links for each of them).

I suggest you look through the screenshot from each of them, and see if the sample visuals ring a bell.

OK, now I need help finding an incest game. I thought it was Retrieving the Past, so I bought it on Steam, but it just teases the cest and has none. Very disappointing, but the game I played a long time ago has a similar MC. Ex-military now security contractor, with a very sexy second in command. Game has him moving his family all together, and some strange backstory about generations of incest or something. I remember a scene with three hot ladies at the pool near the end of the game. I know that's not much to go on, but some help would be appreciated.

He pretty much described that game from what I remember. Mc is ex-military, has a hot chick as a 2nd in command that was also military, he moves his family into a new home after leaving the military, and they have a tradition of incest. I'd say It's A New Home unless there's another game that has all those things in it.

It depends, I've played worse, like lust of pain It even looks like it's inspired by a manhwa where the protagonist is a badass killer, but doesn't pay much attention to his wife, Then you already know what happens, She cheats He with a chicken delivery man.
Now the game lust of pain, will be betrayed by that teacher
