In terms of writing on incest no game rivals this one, the dev has set the bar very highPretty much any incest game I have ever played that is complete and says true M/S. Just pick any from the list.
Incest games with multiple protagonists feel like NTR, and I really don't like kinetic novels with no choices.
Honestly the game would have been better as a comic, with real renders instead of Honey Select.

Yeah, very few games in the incest genre really make the incest matter. It's treated like a low-hanging fruit for the kink tick list instead of actually building upon in. And while I didn't particularly like Petal Among Thorns, that's the only game on the list above where I felt there was an effort by the dev to make it matter.
My favorite part is that the characters greatly care for each other, and while the game is still horny you don't get the feeling like characters only exist for fucking.
Because good writing is good writing, abandoned or not. Both have enough content to be very good, and worth a play.
How can you claim that unless you have played the thousands of incest games on this website. I like Sinful Summer despite the HS but I wouldn't say it's the best or even one of the best incest games.

Once in a lifetime is pretty good, but felt like incest was more of an added feature than a factor. Held back by an unnecessary story of conspiracy and subterfuge when all I was looking for was some incest.

Petal Among Thorns, no MILFs just a slow burn with a dad being virginal. Didn't feel like 'forbidden fruit', but instead 'watching paint dry'. The only bondage that game should have had was the "petal" tying the PC up and get it over with. Daughter was cute at least.
Power Vaccuum is just Power Fantasy. Really derivative. "Man of the house" story lines and "returning after time away" tropes are almost all trash through-and-through. This title mostly survives on being decently early out on the market so it was still 'fresh' and can't easily be buried by new things.

With Sinful Summer you get to explore the headspace of one incest instigator coming into the kink, and two people who have struggled with these feelings in the past but have repressed them. It's a really refreshing change in the huge pile of games that only superficially carry the 'incest' tag.
Now, given what I've already said I will suggest one title that is slightly weaker on the Taboo exploration, but that is mostly because it is a 'landlady' and 'friend' type of game without an unofficial patch. There are convos that talk about the taboo somewhat, but only really one character that talks about it seriously (or at least as far as I've seen). Cabin By The Lake is a great incest game when you patch it. There's True M/S, S/B, S/S, MC/FC, FC/FC, A/NP and to top it off there's also pregnancy and breast feeding. The game does feature massive breasts as well, if that's a deal breaker or not is up to you. Fortunately, I love it. Also, the 'landlady'/mother is a sexual monster, which I greatly appreciate.
I'm not sure what you mean by anime style games. Like 2D cartoon style art like Zombies Retreat, and Confined With Goddesses, or actual Japanese incest games, cause most of those are censored.
