Not really, he blames having health issues and whatnot on there not being an update. Then he releases a new update after 3 months which contained 0 new content, just dialog change and some bugs.
I liked this game and it has huge potential but the dev is no reliable, sadly.

I really liked your game, i wish you and your family the best! hopefully Russia will stop this madness sooner rather than later.

He is just saying how he found out war had been declared. Then he goes on to say that he was going to hire people with different expertise to help on the game, but that obviously has been seriously set back. He says he isn't 'giving up on the project' but that 40% of patrons left after he said he wouldn't be able to work on it as he was before due to the war.

So he continues with the project but doesn't know the how quickly or what things will be done. He definitely seems to be saying he will keep working on the game, and hopes for peace.

I don't mind keeping my support up for a bit, it's not gonna kill me.

I had the exact same thought. And then I played the 1.5 demo (basically the entire dinner scene with Jamal).

I was probably one of his first Patreons, and I stopped supporting him because I don't think the writing is good enough. As previous posters have commented, Jamal basically walks all over MC and MC's wife. And the couple is so autistic that Jamal can a) rudely drink MC's wine, b) eat MC's food, c) dry hump wife in the kitchen, d) openly flirt with MC's wife, and e) molest MC's wife in front of him.

Somehow Jamal still has a fucking job from this supposed Billionaire, upper class family.

The creator just went way too fast, packed way too much "character progression / corruption progression", that it becomes utterly unsupportable. Why not just have MC pull Jamal's cock out and have him force his wife and daughters suck him off at this point since the writing makes no fucking sense.

Any person in the world, if Jamal walked into the house and started to act the way he did, would kick his black ass out and fire him. You want to touch my wife and bury your face in her tits in front of me? Kidding me? My wife is also OK with it? What is she retarded?

I agree very much with your complaints about this. However, I found it entirely forgivable because it was somewhat optional. You could try and limit how much of your expensive wine he drank. You could keep his hands off your wife. So it seemed to me that if a player wanted to 'rush' the corruption they could, and if not then not.

Now all that said, I still don't think it was handled perfectly. It was a bit much, even with picking the most 'manly, anti-ntr' options. But it was still o-k with me because man...these are independent pornographic video games ;). I have to turn my brain off a bit to enjoy most of them, I can respect your high standards tho.

But for me I am hoping that we haven't seen the end of Home Prisoner.

Did you play the game or just complaining without sense, i didn't find any problem in the writing it felt real, and by the way his name is jerome not jamal. and second this is a fantasy game you can't expect too much realism in it, the game is for fun and entertainment purpose so you should not compare it with real life thoughts and consequences. this one coming from one of his supporter.

side note :- if you want too much realism than go and play AWAM game . it's full of reality
