I'm just looking at the bars, but that looks like a nice juicy chunk of progress done.

I'm getting kinda curious as to why it looks like scene 2 was left incomplete though... meh, I'd probably know if I read more

progress chpt5 week 24.jpg

Hey all,

Links to full reports in the sig.
Here's the TLDR:
-I'm still fixing the progress report so the numbers are still bouncing around and balancing out
-As a counter to adding a small scene recently, I was able to cut a lot of redundant content
-Should be better for pacing and should mean a faster update

That's all, folks!
Much love!
JB

I had altered the progress report from the previous week(s), so the progress bar might be a little deceiving without seeing them side by side and/or reading my often wordy reports.

Also, I used to bounce all over the place when developing but this is one of the first chapters that I've been attempting to do everything in order. I've only been partially successful though.

Hey Homies,

Full report on my sites, TLDR below:

-Worked on patching holes in S4, finishing first part of S5 and building new set for second part of S5
-Thankfully, S5 is the last difficult scene in this half of the chapter, so it'll be smoother sailing after it's finished.
-I'm probably releasing this chapter in two halves again.
-No, unfortunately, I don't know exactly when it will be done.

Much love, homies!

Development is slow as hell!!!
On an equally interesting note, some people still believe it's copper rods that help mold grow in blue cheese but that was a myth. It was only used to poke holes in the cheese to allow air to circulate which helped the mold grow during the cheese making process.

Although now they use stainless steel rods while some making blue cheese at home use knitting needles.

Now we've both shared something absolutely no one gives a shit about.

Well, this interests me, just yesterday my wife and I were thinking about starting to make blue cheese at home.
Thanks for your amazing and inspiring post

Doesn't DEV release large updates that's why it seems slow. I am asking don't know much about the process

"My name is Jabbonk, and I'm a solo developer making adult visual novels for Ren'py. Homelander is my first project, and I'll be the first to admit that I still have a lot to improve on. However, if you're here reading this, then maybe I've actually done a somewhat decent job. Thanks for checking out my page, and thank you even more if you chose to help support the development of the game!
Please be aware that I can only work on this in my spare time and the chapters are fairly large so the time between updates can take a while."
Taken directly from the Patreon account about section. A little time goes a long way. Jabbonk has never once disappointed with their updates and I suspect they never will. Creativity, writing, honing, polishing, coding, rendering it all takes time and when you wear many hats to put out the best product possible on top of being your own worst critic.. Yes, the process will be slow. Patience is a virtue and good things come to those who wait.

What a bunch of snowflakes.
Let me try and understand your reasoning here, because I am a bit confused...

1- You come here to whine about how " Development is slow as hell!!! ". Before you say it wasn't whining, let me remind you that NO ONE asked you, so, it was quite obviously a whine.
2- You got owned by several of the users of this thread. No one cared for your whining, no one gave any value to your yapping.
3- Now you come whining again that everyone here is a bunch of snowflakes, when the ONLY snowflake here is YOU.

So, please explain this unintelligent attempt to insult everyone with the sole epithet that clearly defines YOU. I think that reason is running after you but you keep dodging it.

Do you feel OK? Do you still have all your meds?

Peace

Hey all,
Links in the spots, TLDR below:

-I hit a block on S5 and had to set it aside for now
-S6 wasn't quite ready so I'm scripting quickly but everything is going smoothly so far

That's all this week homies
It's been a rough week and things just keep getting scarier out there so I hope everyone stays safe.
Be strong, y'all!
Much love
JB

So many games have the comments flooded by people who want to cry and complain about the progress. I just don't get it. If you're unhappy, then give up and play another game. But don't be a dick to the dev, especially one like Jabbonk who's so great about engaging with the community here - not to mention making a terrific game.
