only thing that annoyed me about this latest update and the start of the game is the castles. i know its better for the game but as someone who likes castles they are just incomplete or not right its a good game and this only annoys me because i know how it should be so don't see it as an attack on your work. what i am going for is the battlements (the merlonds) are to low. just like in the lord of the rings movie they come to hip Hight instead of to head Hight. which will not offer that much protection. as for the large fort we are also seemingly missing the machicolations (see pictures). again not an attack just a personal annoyance because i know how its usually should be.

Here's the TLDR:
-Definitely bit off more than I could chew with this scene, but hopefully, it will be worth the struggle in the end
-Between posing all the characters and often needing 3-4 passes on each render to fit them all, it takes a while to get everything done
-In better news, I've been too conservative with my progress bar, and I'm actually way closer to half finished S7.

Still don't know why Daz Creators reuse character models. I mean sure it's a bit of an investment and for side characters or extras it's understandable but for the main cast they should be different since players see them most of the time.

Probably because at the beginning of development, the budget is very limited (if not non-existent), there is little experience, and it is unclear how much all the costs will pay off, especially if the project is just a hobby (as it is for most developers).
But then, when the project takes off and starts to bring in at least some money, it becomes impossible to change the models; people will not understand and will not accept ‘different’ characters, even if they are not as common. After all, it's not about the picture, but what's behind it.

-My new record for this release is 8 reshoots for a single render, but trust me, they were worth it.
-Sorry for seemingly slow progress, but this scene is incredibly dynamic, and I'm a bit OCD, but I hope it will be enjoyed/appreciated in the end.

-Nearly finished with S7's "outro" (not an outro, just the end section of the scene)
-Will have to finish the denser, middle section after, but then S7 is finally f'n done!
-The S7 grind has made me rethink a lot of ideas I had for S8, and I plan to streamline it
-At this point, I think I would rather have S8 take only a fraction of the time that S7 has at the cost of a little extravagance
-We'll see, though...

An "Incest patch" would require a lot of re-writing, not just a simple noun-swap like the games that are designed for that sort of patch. But hey, if a modder wants to put in the effort, by all means! You're free to play the game however you want!

Hey, this game looks interesting. I just have a question, how is the harem like in this game? At this point in the game, do the women know that they are in a harem and accepts that they are in a harem? Is there actual romantic relationship progress and does the Mc take the time to keep his harem happy with them knowing that they are in a harem? I don't mind at all if the game is a slow burn or not, I just don't want to read about constant relationship drama that never gets solve.

I want it to actually feel like a real harem, where the Mc has official multiple girlfriends at the same time. It's just not to my taste when a harem game has the Mc be annoyingly dense about the women's feelings, or that the Mc be with multiple love interests and the love interests never interacts with each other and the Mc never mentions that he is with other women, or there's no actual romance and just sex. I especially just find it a bore when the Mc can't deal with the jealously of the love interests and it's just constant drama and fighting. I just don't find the love interests having constant jealous spats with each other entertaining at all. I also really hate it when harem games just has a bunch of casual sex or friends with benefits and little to no romance, I don't care for sex scenes at all, I'd rather actual romance progression.

They know. Some are romance, some are just sex (so far at least). I think most are romance.

Not everyone knows about everyone, but everyone knows they're not the only one. Some know about more than others. There's no drama or jealousy and there's unlikely to be any.

There is romance and character progression with the various girls, some relationships progress sexual faster than others but there's no relationship which to me feels purely sexual with no feeling being developed.

But I will say, the harem isn't tiny and given the nature of the world and story it will take a lot of time for all the various girls and their relationships with MC, and with each other to be developed. I'm sure they all will be but one needs to remember that this is a work in progress being released in parts.

And here's the TLDR:

-I had to transfer all of my 3D software and associated assets (450GB+) over to another hard drive because I've been running with only around ~60GB remaining out of 1TB for ages.
-It was slow AF, and my PC was mostly out of commission for all of Saturday.
-While my saves were fine, it messed up some of the asset downloads that were essential. So half of Sunday was also lost while I reinstalled what I needed.
-I've also been struggling to finish the difficult 'middle section' of S7.
-Between the characters and the set around them, it's such a dense scene that I have to keep the entire set hidden/turned off until everyone is posed because it takes 30 literal seconds for each individual click of the mouse when it's on
-Instead, spent the week refining and expanding on S7 and starting on S8
-If I decide to cut final part of S7 then the scene would technically be done right now.

Sorry, but it was a bulky report this time around.

Scene7 must be one heck of a scene

I know that the story must go on, and that is a hard thing to sew a plot together, but the unprofessionalism of this army is starting to piss me off. Prince or not, Isn't the MC a Sergeant?? Why won't you make him talk with more authority??
This Whole scene in the doctor's clinic was FAAAAR too convenient. And could've been resolved in many other realistic ways, in order to anybody blow the whistle.
I can only look past situations like this to a certain point. They significantly impoverish a narrative that has been very good so far. I hope this doesn't become commonplace by the end of the game.
