Got the same problem but found a workaround
I downloaded a previous version and was enable to go beyond the bj scene then a little later I was able to save and keep on playing the new version

Doesn't work with the 0.09 that I had (the save always goes to the moment before the "main event") but after downloading the 0.09f on that page, it works! The save is fixed on that one. Thanks.
