But I strongly recommend NOT to go this way.
First you have to do each single step - these are 4 upgrades. And each upgrade has the chance to spoil your game completly.
Mostly there happen conflicts between the upgraded main mods of the game and your existing sideloader and personal mods.
Much safer is a complete new download/install and if running afterthen transfer your personal stuff from old R8.
And keep your old game as Backup til you have all tested in new install.

What happened now? I downloaded via Mega (all in 1 version), spent 10 hours waiting because Mega halts the download after a while due to exceeding my download limits, and now, just before its done, I get: "99% complete. No more content." Not even an output file was created!

Ouch.
This is why I now go for the Torrent download option every time. It takes longer to download (I leave it to run overnight and leave the Optional Mods pack for later - still haven't gone back for it on BR12) but, in my experience so far, it has then been smooth running every time.

I need to better understand the KKmanager, and figure out if I am doing something wrong, or not using it correctly
Every time I have attempted to use it, it keeps giving me well over 100GB of updates.
I have both BetterRepack 10 and 11, and I have not been playing for awhile but I hope there isn't/hasn't been another version or I will have to go through this entire process of chasing the dragon/my tail all over again to try and stay on top
But the update process is so laborious, I am unsure what I might potentially be doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated.

But again I recommend a new download/install of BR12 - you risk to spend much effort into the bin

First of all we have BR version R12 now - maybe therefore the update content is bigger as usual.
But as I posted here 1000 times normally you don´t need the Sideloder Modpack Studio update if you only play the game. That saves a lot of GB. You can deselect this part before starting the update.
Also you can skip the Extra Maps (mostly for StudioNEO only) and Bleeding Edge (if you didn´t activate Experimental Mode).
And since the update download is running via P2P the download speed has significantly increased - apply this

Hooh's 'sdx_fluid_sp' mod is acting strange as fuck.
If I save and reload, the fluid doesn't keep any of its properties I set in the I menu (in the image).
This didn't use to happen in BR9 before I updated my studio core.
Also, better penetration with s-dicks only works after I go to item -> collide with selected characters, and that state isn't saved in the scene because on reload it doesn't work again..
Do you know any fix for the above? The thing below is annoying but not as bad in the slightest.
Also, if I select one of the ds_fluid_sp mod fluid sources, hide it in the workspace, then try to move the camera using left click (rotating it), I get this error in the console and the camera doesn't move until I select another thing in the workspace or show the fluid source.

How many tattoos do you need to get happy?
You also can search for character cards with tattoos - also on Illusion Discord - and export them as I showed you.
But maybe there you´re getting some double.......

Mine full modded but without Studio Modpack ~ 147 GB
If you avoid the Studio Modpack and Bleeding Edge and don´t collect too much cards 100GB may be sufficient.

In fact, I don't have the answers, actually I saw your post on Discord, waiting for someone to reply but no response was given :/
BUT I have been in similarity troubles (again, sorry my bad english).
I was getting too many troubles making VNGE at the point quit doing that, my game crashes by no reason, or stuck when saving, losing hours of good animation to share with ya, anyway, dumped that old machine and get another one, same old but less, You feel me? xd, anyway, updated my game to R12 and still getting that odd behavior, like my pointer gets "glued", like that anoying viruses back in the college times. went to disable many optional mods and run my game and there was less (way to much less) crashes, last time I got the "ghost penis", when using H animations, switch to another girl and fix it.
So, I think some mods, I dunno which ones, are no compatible. Fluid mod is an old mod abandoned by its own creator I guess, and there are no updates so far, so I think the new BepinEx is to much for it.
Recently saw on discord an update from ManlyMarco about Ilusion fixes and colliders,

maybe updating thath core items fix your issue.
I haven't play or create anything lately, I'm trying to get a decent machine to get in track again. as soon as i get back in business I will take a close look.
