I'm thinking that maybe I'm often forcing the game to close that causes some settings in addition to bugs？

I cant say it has some kind of correlation but what's the cause that make you to frequently force the game to close?
I do sometimes force the game to close if I accidentally booted up the game when I don't mean to open it by closing the console.
But as long as I've been in this rabbit hole, I never met that issue.

Item+ menu on the left sidebar.
It's special plugin for hooh's stuff like scripted dick, volumetric lighting, gimmicks etc.

There's a few options like border strength, border progress, etc which slide should I change cuz I've tried them all but it doesn't change the penis for me

But same as AmaNo never had such an issue.

Anyway I still can´t imagine what exactly happens.
When appears the double face? If you loading in game or in charamaker (your screenshot doesn´t look like that).
Or is the card itself changing (you´re talking about "my cards become like this")?

And what do you mean with "reading the card":

2. Benis scale -> item+ menu. For length and other properties

Try changing the Benis Scale.
Remember it has to be Scripted Dick Track Nearest and the navigator must be present in the scene or it wouldn't work.

How come R14 takes almost 5 minutes to load into the game? Does it automatically search for updated mods? If so, can that be disabled? I use R5 (the best ever repack version) and I can get into the game every time in under a minute.

Your issue getting clearer.
I guess you´ve meant "load a character card"..........

Well, if I understand right this happens if you load another card (in charamaker), and the character before doesn´t vanish completely? And your charamaker is freezing then?

Indeed this is weird, I never have seen or heard about something like this.
Most likely I suspect a loading issue - how´s about your game location? Is it on top of a drive and not C:\, as always recommended?

Then compare first the amount of mods of R5 to R14. R14 has to load much more mods than R5.
Normally the first loading lasts longer than next ones.

And NO, there isn´t an automatically update search, you run the game completely standalone.
Searching for updates you have to start manually in KK-Manager or InitSetting.

Anyway I´ve stopped my game start - exactly 56 sec. If I remember right I never noticed a significant loading time increase with newer versions.
Maybe you´ve unnecessary long file pathes? Is your game main folder (where .exe is) on top of a drive?
Hardware is also of influence - more RAM and game on SSD accelerate loading process.

R14 is glitchy as hell for me anyway so I am cherry picking mods from it and adding them to my R5.

I´m not sure if this works, cuz newer mods may need higher BepInEx version and you mess up your R5.

Yea, it's been a trial and error ordeal. I have added some new hairs and skins which is awesome. Mods from K1T0-K1TN and Sjjpl have been the most useful for me.

I agree with ya! In recent days I needed a lot of space on my disc, so I decided to move out the entire "MyMods" folder, the Sideloader studio mods and other stuffs. Surprising my game runs faster than before! So i'm going to play with some of my cards and studio scenes and see what mods are missing, It may be take me a while to depurate my mods list (There are mods that I will never gonna use tho). I am running BR13 cuz I am mistrusted to update to BR14 cuz I've heard some bad reviews of well-known users, besides my cardboard PC seems to be at its limit, I dont wanna blow this one too.

Similar case went to my card folder, Over 8000 chicks made my load time too long, so I moved out all my gals and when I want to play or create a new scene, only choose the needed and bring it to mt machine.

I installed the DX Better Repack R14 on torrent from the better repack site, extracted the game, launched it, and for some reason some of the buttons don't work. I can't close help screens, and most options grey out after I click them, I can make characters, but it wont let me go to any locations, call anyone, I can call fur but the option to do have sex with her also does nothing. I also can't sleep. all I can do is make characters and assign them to groups, wont let me do anything else. When I try to click any options it just highlights them and makes a sound but nothing happens. Already tried a fresh install and extraction, no errors during either. Anyone have any idea what's causing this?

I'm a computer novice. my computer is alienware, only 1TB, so I'm putting the game on a portable hard drive, so maybe that's the problem?

You don't want to play 100GB game from portable drive.

Not being offensive, but you just need to git gud at it.
The female chara used in the pic doesn't really use any paid mod afaik.
I recognized the hair, it's from Sjjpl. It's also using some kind of technique to make a bang.
BP5 Innie uncensor.
Maybe PregnancyPlus to make "chubby" look or only using chubby body build.

Sounds like UI isn´t loading correctly.
How´s about your game location?
Did you follow the recommendations 1000 times posted here?
