Is there any way to convert cards from HS1 via a batch file, standalone .exe or website to Koikatsu/AI-Shouju/Honey Select 2 R5 / Honey Select 2 DX?
Important Frequently Asked Questions (and Answer):
Short Answer: No, Also Koikatsu & Character creator are Anime style not 3D model.
Longer Answer: Nooooo. Because it's a different game with a different engine... And engine from Unity 5 to Unity 2018/2019 are huge changes in implementation.
Longest Answer (that is probably wrong): The algorithms in character generation and geometry are completely different between Unity 5 and Unity 2018-2019.
We suppose you "could" load a HS 1 card with ALL the required mod dependencies in HS1 in plain neutral scene in HS Studio (without HUNDREDS of Mods used for make-up, clothing, accessories (there are a LOT of dependencies) and let's not forget the lighting... it's all about the lighting). Save the scene.
Then export the scene into Blender with all the correct mod and co-ordinate locations,
Make sure the geometry is correct,
Match up the face and body bones from HS1 to HS2 (hopefully with a script and not by hand) save the new scene in blender.
In Blender (or Unity 2018/Unity 2019) change the format of the scene AND Model to be correctly rigged for AI or HS2.
probably some other steps not listed here,
Generate the correct meshes
Export the scene from Blender/Unity 2018/2019 into a scene for Studio Neo V2
hoping that you have all the required mapped accessories, hair (facial hair if a dude), pupils, eyelashes, eyebrows, and somehow match all the required clothing/mods it use to have. Save the new scene.
Load up Studio Neo V2 and open the scene you created to check if correct.
Attempt to Ctrl-E export (for the Character) geometry.
Finally drop the card into the correct /userdata directory and generate the Giant [?] character card that now appears in the character creation screen,
Assign personality and all the other things.
Now you can do a Save and regenerate the picture for the card.
That was for 1 card.
So no. it's impractical.
Did I mention learning Unity 2018-2019? Unity Personal is 100% free (just don't talk about reverse engineering OR porn, It IS a professional site so act like it's church/wedding/funeral) with a paid asset store and hundreds of hours of video tutorials and hands on courses that you can sign up for if it's a tricky problem. It would really help development efforts of making Honey Select 2 and Ai-Shoujo more modular and expandable. Your first game could be something like an using the assets for "
FPS, Unity-chan, Rolling Magnets Stuck together, Traveling through Holes and Rubber Bands, Stretchy Fabric, While holding a bucket of water to put out a fire with a piston driven steam pump" for an idea.
You could even develop tools like the Sim 4, Wicked Whim has Hundreds of HOURS of H-Scene Animations already made in Blender... and run through a The Sims 4 community animation tools.
