You might consider sticking with Illusion's earlier games - HS1 might run acceptably on your hardware.

Your link shows win 8 as minimum requirement so it would make sense. Other site was showing win 7 that's the reason I was confused about this. Do you think upgrading os would be enough to make it work properly?

Hey guys, I'm trying to use the characters from the mod pack (such as Jill valentine, Tina Armstrong...etc) but even after I load the characters and save as new they won't show up in the group page, I tried making adjustments like changing their clothes still doesn't work, any idea how to fix it?

Hey guys, I have a little issue here.

Zirka 2 months ago I upgraded my PC with a 3080 EVGA RTX and a Ryzen 5600x, and since then whenever I press the "Play" button on the menu my whole PC just shuts down...
For the record I've played HS2 with my older config without any issues at all, also worth mention that I never experienced this with any games.
For example I have CoD MW on ultra settings 1440p 144 stable FPS, and everything works just fine with other programs as well.

Any tips what should I do? I've already reinstalled the whole game, kept only a few saved characters.
I have no idea what to do, I'm not risking another shutdown, my setup was pretty damn pricy for this :/

Вопрос про студию. В некоторых сценах где используется телефон на нём видно изображение самой сцены. Это монтаж или есть возможность делать чтобы выводить изображения с разных камер на какие то объекты одновременно в одной сцене.


Question about the studio. In some scenes where the phone is used, the image of the scene itself is visible on it. This is editing or it is possible to do it to display images from different cameras on some objects at the same time in one scene.

Мне интересно не только про телефон но и про других возможности передавать изображения одновременно с разных ракурсов. I want to repeat the question and attach an example of what interests me. Can a picture on a phone screen be done in a studio or is it additional editing? I'm interested not only about the phone, but also about other possibilities to transmit images simultaneously from different angles. This is necessary so as not to copy the character on the screen, but simply render it simultaneously from different angles. I still can't figure out what Next-Gen skin is. This additionally needs to be downloaded or available in the distribution. I just do not want it to conflict with something if I install it. Additional question. What's the best way to animate characters' breathing?

Breathing can be added by looking at advanced kinematics I think. That mod should be included in the screwthatnoise repack.

Anyone know of an issue with accessories going missing? I downloaded Honey Select 2 R2 just a couple days ago and started running it, opened it once and messed around with the character creator once. I didn't save anything but two WIP females, one of which I was using the numerous pubic hair accessories for to have armpit hair. I then updated it to R3 and then to R3.1, saying yes to default mod configs to both last night. Then when I opened it up a second time today, the accessories were completely missing. I didn't notice if there were any accessories missing from the other areas of the body since I didn't look at those menus very much, though things seem fine for the other areas for selectable accessories. But now, there are only 9 crotch accessories, when in the one time I loaded R2, there was dozens of accessories. Only 4 dildos, 2 butt plugs, a strap on and two pubic hair options, everything else missing. The character cards themselves are just fine, the dressed was a little bugged when I first loaded it but I switched to another dress, switched back and it was fine. I'm assuming I screwed something up in the update process?
Here's the output log if it matters, according to the technical help page on animesharing.

i have a problem with the H scene speed animation that for some reason is not consistant, like its freezes speed up to normal and then again, wich i don't know if i selected an option or something is damaged, anything else seems to work fine, the game doesnt crash or anything, i can control it to make it faster but present the same problem

There were a number of mods that were found to have some issues, and they've been removed from the regular sideloader mods (found in \mods\Sideloader Modpack) and put into bleeding edge (found in \mods\Sideloader Modpack - Bleeding Edge). Bleeding edge mods aren't updated by default, and if you're using an older version of the launcher (initsetting.exe) you may no longer see the bleeding edge mods in the updater.

Run initsetting.exe, and look for the checkbox labeled "Experimental Mode" in the area with DHH and Graphics Mod. If you check experimental mode, it'll let you download the bleeding edge stuff. If you don't see the checkbox, grab the latest launcher here:

That'll get most of your mods back, but a couple have been removed at a modder's request. Rose's cellphone and pubic hair mods are sorta paid mods now.

BTW, there are a LOT of mods being put into the bleeding edge area lately - it's worth running the updater frequently if you want the latest and greatest (and possibly buggiest).

Okay, so I was able to download the launcher just fine, but then noticed that when I loaded up the game, several of the mods went missing, potentially ones from the updater as well. The mods from HS2 DX R2 ran just fine, and the cards in the chara/female/ModPack folder loaded just fine, too. But once I updated from R2 to R3, and then R3 to R3.1, several mods completely disappeared. The character cards I made in R2 loaded just fine though. I figured I did something wrong when updating to R3.1, so I did a clean install, updated to R3.1 first before touching the game, and same result: mods missing. So then I settled on downloading the R3.1 pack off of mega, and that way things would hopefully be fine.

So I downloaded it, new install, just went in without the updater and... nothing. R3.1 was just the base game, mods completely missing. It also defaulted to Japanese text every time I loaded into R3.1, unlike the default to machine translated English before. Also for reference, the Mai Shiranui card in the ModPack folder (red dress) that I downloaded from the first post had zero issues appearing in game as intended before downloading any updates to the mods when I first played HS2, so I figured that the same would apply here, I wouldn't need updates to the mods and at the very least, a chunk of the cards would work. But stuff like even the extra sliders were completely missing, and fewer accessories as a whole. Base game. I didn't attempt to install updates to the game as I thought it wouldn't fix anything. I don't really know what to do anymore.

If it actually makes a difference how the game is extracted, I used FileJoiner to join all of the .00# files together, then unzipped it as a pack that way. I have never worked with .001 files before so I have zero clue if doing it that way screws up the mods, or if I am screwing something else up. Same issue I had when trying to install Koikatsu, but that's for the Koikatsu thread.
