The game launches on the Deck at least
It would be nice to have steam cloud save or maybe even the renpy save sync function so I can use my saves between the pc and deck.

I missed this feature, I even checked to see if it had uploaded from the desktop, but I saw that there is no cloud save in this game.

I *think* Steam Cloud might be working now across devices based on the changes I just pushed on Steamworks. If anybody has time to validate if it's working now (or still not) I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

It's already showing as compatible in the store, but not on my devices. However, Steam might take some time to update. I'll let you know as soon as it shows up.

The badge on the page either gets auto applied after 7 days, or you can push manually earlier than that (which we did). However, their report said "Steam cloud isn't working," and I edited Steamworks before my latest post here based on some instructions in an F95 thread...in theory it should work now to synch saves across devices after my latest republishing of the game + settings about 15 minutes ago or what not, but in reality, I don't know since I can't test.

Much appreciate you offering to check it out when you can, thanks a ton.

Steam Cloud does not seem to work. But the renpy Download/Upload Sync seems to work now. Though it did not sync all my saves, just latest few.

Damn, so progress, but not 100% working yet.

Thanks for sharing. I can at least get this bit working on my other games now to get them (closer) to fully functional and then continue learning and reading. Much appreciated.

The same developer that brought you the version 2 and version 3 expansions is doing a sequel to Horny Holiday.

Spark of Joy is coming next year. If I do say so myself, I think they did an amazing job on the trailer & all the renders. I've played an early pre-alpha demo, and was blown away - am a little jealous, since I believe they do even better work than I do now. Cheers folks.

Spark of Joy is coming next year. If I do say so myself, I think they did an amazing job on the trailer & all the renders. I've played an early pre-alpha demo, and was blown away - am a little jealous, since I believe they do even better work than I do now. Cheers folks.

This holiday season I hope to visit a neighbor's house and meet my own... spark of Joy!
Hopefully there is also a minigame cheat code for her.

It's almost Halloween, and to celebrate, my partner made a few seasonal images of Joy and Jack.

Even better, they just finished updates to Horny Holiday including a few new animations, improved text, bug fixing, and a list of other things that (maybe? hopefully?) fixed up all the various things that weren't high quality in the game. For those that speak Mandarin, there's also now a professional localization of both Simplified Chinese & Traditional Chinese. If this pans out, we'll investigate more professional translation in the future.

Also, Horny Holiday is on sale on steam for only $1 right now...yep, an 80% discount. Even better, after the last few updates (and with the help of the feedback here, thank you!) it's my first title that's Steam Deck verified, so all the controls work flawlessly. There were a few minor issues which we addressed in the most recent update, and then we've also added some new animations, fixed up dialogue in a few places, and generally made it even better.

If you haven't experienced Joy this holiday season, pick up Horny Holiday, and get as much Joy as you can handle.

I don't have a game thread here yet for the sequel, Spark of Joy, but I wanted to share a few preview pics of the work in progress. The same developer on my team who made the Horny Holiday expansions also is working on this title.

These images are all from the upcoming demo (this month? early next month? We'll see). There's action, adventure, and bikinis? Oh, yeah.

The story picks up right where Horny Holiday wraps, so if you haven't played the first game, you will still be able to enjoy this much longer title. There's also one character who's mentioned, but never shown, in Horny Holiday (Becky, Jack's ex-girlfriend) who features in the sequel as well, because who doesn't like a little drama?

I look forward to the sequel. I hope the pure vanilla route will have just as many sex scenes and content as the more popular cheating or ntr routes. It is almost impossible to find a game with those routes that has the vanilla be just as robust.

While this series isn't cannon, I wanted to share some holiday cheer and joy from the cast of Spark of Joy, the Horny Holiday sequel. The beauty sitting next to Joy on her left, and in the second image, is the woman who started it all: Becky.

She didn't make an appearance in Horny Holiday, but she's got a pivotal role to play in this fun sequel. The demo is getting better daily, and we should have the public version ready in the next month, give or take a bit. As to who the other ladies are, they're costars in the game, but for now, I'll skip their introductions and share those at a later day. We'll have more seasonal renders ... tomorrow!

Yeah, I agree. My partner did a great job with the character design, picking the models, and everything. This isn't my work, it's theirs just like Horny Holiday (well, most of it, after the original game, they did the expansion).

Also, the middle image is of Becky, Jack's ex-girlfriend in Horny Holiday that dumps him...and kick starts all the subsequent events in the game. She'll be a fun character to have in Spark of Joy, I think.
