Game is now complete! (mostly, still need to fix the android version, do tons of bugfixes, and a few small updates)

is anyone else getting softlocked when doing Olivia's Training? I can do the offence training, but it always gives +0 and nothing new becomes available.
Are you using the version in the thread? If you are it's out of date, no one's leaked the latest version yet, thread was last updated in December by a moderator.

Also just to make sure. This game and Horny Mage Academy: Dark Tower are two different games right?

Giving the thread a read they are 2 different games. This one being a sequel.
It's weird having a sequel finished first before the prequel ngl.
What is the point in playing the prequel if we already know how it ends when we are already able to play the sequel xD
Is all the pregnant play redconned for the sequel? Depending on how you play the girls are mulitple times being a mother.
Or is it a alternative universe and they share only the same girls? Still feels weird.
Also the pregnant content seemed to have toned down in this game because the dev decided to put the game on steam. Thats another bummer.

Horny Mage Academy is a sandbox action-rpg that combines lifesim and combat elements. Currently in the middle of a combat revamp and technical fixes, devlogs posted publicly on subscribestar/patreon but patreon's are censored because of their public post policy.
Horny Mage Chronicles is a smaller visual-novel style sequel featuring the same characters set after the events of Horny Mage Academy, following a new main character as he meets and fucks his way through the main cast of the Horny Mage Academy.

Yeah, I edited my post with more infos before you answered but bottom line is that at least for me it is weird playing a sequel already when the prequel is still in development and the tone down in pregnancy content also in comparison with the prequel.
Why not spent the time you put into this game into the prequel first and then make a second game though?
The prequel looks way more interesting with the clear inspiration from Violated Heroine ngl. Sry if I sound too negative but I am mostly just curious.

I guess if it's something that happened in her past, it's optional to know about it because it will have happened whether you see it or not.
What I see is that if there are going to be many scenes like these two, it is best to know about it beforehand.
I don't know if the game is meant to be harem-like, but if so, having three LIs who basically look like sluts isn't a great idea.

I mean there is a whole prequel with them being very sexually active and they have gotten several times pregnant. Of course they have a past and I don't understand the mental gymnastics people have again in seeing everything NTR.

I had several reasons to make a sequal.
1: Horny Mage Academy is going to be a many-year long project.
The scope is far beyond what I could do alone on weekends with a full-time job in the space of just a year or two like originally planned (I'm still not a full-time gamedev and never was at the start). It's a passion project in every sense of the word, based on a world my fiance and I have been writing together since just after we met (Check out Horny Mage Academy's short stories series by Thorn and Nin on amazon!)
A small-scope visual novel sequal ensured that I could make content for both games without having to put one or the other on hiatus while development continued. It let me expand my skills as an artist, forced me to learn new things for development, and actually made me consider scope and completion, something I wasn't too concerned about for Horny Mage Academy.
2: I wanted to learn Unity to expand my abilities.
I spent 2+ years learning art to make the character art for Horny Mage Academy, but I am primarily a software engineer by day. I wanted to make a small project in Unity to learn how to use it for future projects, and this worked great for that!
3: Horny Mage Academy cannot be sold on steam.
I wanted to transition into full-time gamedev at some point in the near-ish future, but Horny Mage Academy couldn't be sold on steam which is where the vast majority of income for game development can come from.
But the school uniforms and school setting make it completely impossible it would ever be accepted on steam.
As a result, I'm trying to plan out side projects that are directly tied into Horny Mage Academy, in a way that allows me to continue development on both projects simultaneously.
Pregnancy mechanics being toned down was a mistake, born of both my own inexperience with unity as well as my own inexperience with Steam's content policies. Now that I have more experience with both the next side project will 100% be far better with it.

I didn't say anything about NTR, in fact I agree that it's not NTR. That said, I'm still not thrilled about it.
Well, after what you've said about the prequel I guess I can ignore this game (and it's still not NTR).

Yeah I'm going to need to do some digging to figure that one out. I'll try to work on it but my phone is older so it's hard to debug an issue that I can't accurately reproduce. With so many other issues currently floating around (I'm not sure if the version that was leaked here is broken like itch.io and can't access the gallery, for one), I've got a lot on my plate to fix along with the Android issues!
It likely doesn't help that Horny Mage Chronicles is compiled using Unity 2019 (as that was the only one at the time that worked with Live2d's SDK when I started development a while ago), so it's possible that Unity's at fault, and again, I can't tell because my phone is like 6 years old now and has no issues running it. It's set in the compile options to run on all compatible devices, so I have no idea what's throwing an error for newer phones.
I'll see about trying to find a friend with a newer phone that I can borrow and get to the bottom of it all. Sorry that it's taking a while.
