Why is game in parts? 5 different downloads of the same game? Who plays games like this. It reminds you having to load or play another disc, except nobody uses discs anymore. Bzzt. DOA.

What exactly is part 2, 3, 4, and 5? I downloaded them, but they don't seem to be games. Only Part 1 had a game.
why would they need to put the .exe in every copy? just overlay each one ontop each other
The rest of the game, because the person who packages the game is a psychopath who refuses to package the game into actual parted archives.
The way the game is structured, you have the game's framework and then every update is a bunch of DLC/mod-like files that get read by the framework. If you only unpack the part 1, which includes the game's framework and a few updates, you'll run into infinite loading screen once you try to proceed to the second location.
In short, unpack all of the parts into a single folder, you dumbass.
PS. The game is broken and fixes are scattered all across this thread, so don't be surprised when the game freezes during a dialogue or a cutscenes even though you unpacked all 5 parts into a single folder.
I would assume to say the guy in the one raid with handing out the drugs. and had a option to go full suit or non. But he transforms into a monster at some point and could get preg from him and kinda copy himself into her. If this is the same guy i'm understanding. Someone else could correct me if i'm wrong.
Cannot play it as 5 parts. I regularly make 120 gig game downloads. It can also be compressed. Yea. It can't be shared over certain mediums and sharing. I won't play any game in parts. None. It's wrecked that experience. Completely disrupted saves and any continuity. Plenty of 10gig download games on here.

Maybe I haven't explain it more clearly how I extracted it (even if I said combined them)
Extracting and combining:
1. I downloaded all 5 compressed files to a folder
2. I extracted the files and folder from "Hounds_of_the_Meteor_Full1_20250503.zip" to folder "1"
3. Next, I opened "Hounds_of_the_Meteor_Full2_20250503.zip" and only extracted the files in folder "Hounds of the Meteor_Data" to proper location in folder "1" (..\1\Hounds of the Meteor_Data)
4. I repeated step 3 for the remaining three compress files.
I think I may know what the issue(s) may be, however will have to troubleshoot for the possible solution. This game is on a "Offline" system, another word, stand alone and no network connection. However due to UNITY, it quite complex and does requires additional tools/application/tweaking to allow UNITY functions to perform. I had used other UNITY application before and had no major issue. I had recently retested another AVN/game that is UNITY and had no issue opening the AVN/game.
However, I am not a huge fan of UNITY at this moment. I see the concept of UNITY and why it being use on number of application(s).

i never know what to do when i find stuff like this. i played nanocrisis and hounds of the blade, thought meteor went into a toilet, and am pleased to find it did not... but how do you even approach a 262 page thread? is there a smart way to parse and find the exe + the translation + the patch + the save or whatever? i'm old now and can't spend 4 hours doing this anymorel ol

Don't download Honey, it's a scam. They just use their own referral codes everywhere to make money off of you without giving you anything back.
Also use Firefox. Chrome doesn't have uBlock Origin anymore, and using the internet without an ad blocker is a nightmare.

you actually can simply reenable ublock origin and it still works. well, it did a few weeks ago, when i read about it. but i'm still not getting ads, and it still appears to be active and in use per chrome's extensions page.
they will undoubtedly explicitly disable it one of these days but not yet.
also, there is a ublock origin lite out already that complies with manifest3 and thus still works (ostensibly not quite as well as regular ublock origin does, though)

ah see, thats prolly the issue. you need to extract to a seperate folder for each part, then click drag everything in the folder to manually move parts 2-5 into part 1. i dont know why this is the method, i DO know this is the method that worksThanks for responding.
