a) i'm anonymous. how could you possibly know when or where i've criticised people for ignoring consent in virtual representations of real people?
b) this is the first time i've ever seen anything like this. pornstars give explicit consent for what can happen to their avatars in previous games using body scans & voice recordings of their real selves. i think making porn deepfakes and looking at non-consentually leaked nudes of celebrities is creepy and immoral too.

consent isn't really that hard to figure out. you can get mad at me for pointing out what's immoral if doing so piques your ego or whatever, but it doesn't change that i'm right

Some of the pixels on your screen currently form characters, which represent letters that form words which you are currently reading. Ergo: people can get offended by words and images represented in pixel form.

I'm pretty sure those laws of yours aren't based on someone feeling offended on others behalf.

Right on. If you think about it, there would not be any argument if Doja had actually not been censored in this porn game. I haven't played it but, since this IS a paid DLC, what value does she add to the game? Is there like an interesting story here that's fun or what? I'm genuinely curious.

Empathy is a great feat of humanity, no doubt about it. Makes everyone feel good receiving it, and feel better about themselves when showing it to other people. Overall a great concept. But also possibly the biggest reason why we might eventually go extinct due to overpopulation and conflicts resulting from the latter; in other words:

"Being compassionate and wanting to please everyone" doesn't work when all your space and resources are finite.

But now we're treading philosophical territory, and I'm currently way too tired to go into that.

Do you use a custom story? It might not be compatible with the current version.
What happens if you start a new game?

ps: Also try to disconnect all game controllers. There was a version that was bugged when one was connected.

Started a new game after downloading it yesterday. Everything was fine till when I loaded it up the next day can't INTERACT with anything or anyone. Cant open doors, talk or anything. I can move, I can go into combat mode by pressing space bar. But other than that I cant do anything. Is there a way to fix this bug? Im not using a custom story.

Looks like a broken savegame. Have you already tried to star a new game?
And no, usually there can't be done anyhing, when it's that bad.
The script/story and savegame architecture of HouseParty are ... improvable.
