Can I use this mod with new version of the game 1.4.0 13106?
Yes. It says "1.4.0" (without those last digits at the end) for a reason, being: as long as it doesn't specifically say otherwise, just assume it'll work for any version within that range.

How to set the mode? Because I set it, but it doesn't work. I put the texture in C:\Documents/eek... The other folder is in games. When I start the game, something happens, but I don't know how to then activate Amala Nude without security.
Make sure the MelonLoader window (which should remain open the entire time the game is running) doesn't show any errors. If it does, please post them here, or send me a screenshot via DM so I can look into it. If there are no errors, also make sure that you've put everything into the correct folders; the structure should end up looking like this (for example):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\House Party\MelonLoader\
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\House Party\Mods\

Obviously, if your game is located somewhere else, everything before "House Party" will look different.

If up to this point you did everything correctly, and MelonLoader doesn't show any errors, you should see a text box in the top left corner of your screen within the game, telling you to press a certain button on your keyboard. Do that, and a little menu with clickable buttons will show up. Use those buttons (or press their respective hotkeys; see the README.txt for details) to achieve what you're looking for.

If you believe you followed everything correctly and it still doesn't work, feel free to let me know.

here are the errors.
I see. Unfortunately, these are not errors related to my mod specifically, but rather MelonLoader itself. From what I was able to gather, apparently it's caused by some sort of misconfigured proxy and/or other types of connectivity issues in Windows that you would have to get rid of before attempting to run the game again.

See here for more info:

Explanation: when starting for the first time, MelonLoader attempts to grab and install a few more required files from the internet. If it can't do that for whatever reason, this is the error you'll be getting.

Things you could also try: start the game with elevated rights (i.e. "Run as Administrator"); if that doesn't work, try going to this site: - from there, download the latest version, install it over the one that's already in your House Party folder, and see if that fixes anything.

Other than that... since I'm not a MelonLoader developer, I'm afraid I can't be of further assistance.

Game crashes.
You'll have to be more specific than that. Just randomly barking "It doesn't work!!" into the room isn't very productive.

Anyways - I just felt like compiling a few examples of what you can expect to be able to do with the mod. Not in the mood of doing much fucking yourself today? Be the director instead, and put NPCs into leading roles.

As opposed to the old version for House Party 1.2.2.1 where I had to implement a bunch of arbitrary limitations (for the sake of polish) I went the opposite route this time and left it all open. Yes, things may or may not look kinda janky, depending on what you do, but where's the fun in not even trying? ;)
