When characters are very close, like in some sex scenes, you will see distortion on the edges of the screen.
And that is due to how FOV works. The larger the FOV the larger distortion. And there is nothing really to do about it, that is how 3D is done in first-person games.

I think this is also primary reason why FOV is locked to max of 60 (although it can be increased with console command).

I came up with an idea for this game.

Taking note, that the developers will focus on the bugfix of the sex scenes and developing better physics of the polygonal models, I would have a suggestion.

I noticed that all the girls in the game, in the end, always have the same sexual poses.

What I would like to see instead, would be various personal sexual poses for each character and based on where they are.

For example, if you are in the room, ok for the bed, but if you are in the garage, outside in the garden, in the bathroom, on the sofa, etc., I would like the characters to use the objects arranged in the environment.

Another example; Brittney in the study room, is there a table, right? So why not get her fucked like it happens in reality?

with a nice leg on the chair, with her ass exposed and us beautiful ready to penetrate her from behind? Or in front, with her sitting or lying on the table?

They are focusing on story with tons of new lines and intricate quests, mechanic wise until the introduction of fighting system (well technically you had to fight in very very old version) game is always the same: you get a big new plot and MAYBE a single new pose....personal pose for each character would require time and focus. Despite witcher guys blabla even with modding you can't even do base stuff like swap clothes from a girl to another for mechanics problems and they even didn't added stripping animations yet.

The problem with this game though is that it's gone pretty mainstream. Sure they point everyone to a patch to remove censorship but they've positioned themselves on platforms like Steam and find themselves with YouTubers and such playing their game, padding it out with content that's acceptable on those platforms is just a smart move in regards to keeping those footings. The money is already arriving because they aren't going balls deep into the porn side.
I don't like it, I'm not saying it's a good thing, I'm just saying I understand when they drop more social plots and humour in rather than another way for you to get your dick wet.
I enjoyed the two times I played this game but I did actually have more fun with The Sims after adding the porn patches so they could "woohoo" better and more explicitly.

Not sure if you're trolling or not... but you don't pay for the alpha. If you buy the game, you get every update. It's just the patreon people get the initial alpha/beta version of each update. The alpha/beta versions of each update.... surprise surprise... are quite buggy, which is why they are the alpha/beta version.

The completed full update goes out about every 2-3 months, on whatever store you bought the game on.

I've been following this game from the very get-go, and they didn't really pivot directions when the game started going mainstream like you are suggesting. The game has been a comedy social simulator with nudity and sex from day 1. In fact, I don't even think sex was added to the game until way late in its initial development.

Maybe this isn't the game that YOU want them to create, but it's clear it's the game that THEY want to create. I'm OK with that. I like the other aspects of the game, and the humor is right up my alley. The graphics are great. The sex scenes are a bit wonky, but clearly it's not the main focus, and I am OK with that also.

As for creating another "Sims", there are plenty of gameplay elements in this game that are completely different from Sims, and honestly, I am hard pressed to think of another game that has gameplay mechanics like this. They kinda created something unique here, and that's part of the reason they are doing so well in the mainstream. Asking them to change it because you don't like is just you not seeing the bigger picture. Them trying to create a Sims clone would be a bad move too, because this isn't anything like that.

One thing that EVERYBODY here is missing, is that these guys are on the front lines fighting against the mainstream censoring these types of games and glorifying violent ones. Whether or not Eek is making the end-all game that YOU think they should make or not, they are paving the way for other developers to come along with an idea that's more in line of what you want out of an adult game, and be able to properly support themselves to get it done. This game, even being as tame as it is compared to other games on this site, has gotten kicked off Steam, kicked off Twitch, the videos on YouTube get demonized, etc... Just that warning screen at the beginning of the game shows that they are on OUR side in terms wanting to give us more options for good adult games to exist. That alone IMO makes them worthy of my support and money.

It is the model and mentality of how to do business today, which is social cancer, the cancer that leads to profit at the expense of the final quality and this model is the western one.

Mine wants to be a clear constructive discussion, on how we plan today and beyond.

The biggest reason nobody is taking what you say seriously is because your opinion, though very strong, is extremely subjective. You are trying to assert that the developers are not passionate and only care about money just because this game doesn't align with what YOU want out of a game. But if the game aligns with what the developers want then by definition, they are following their passion, regardless of how much money they make. Again, this game has ALWAYS been this way even before it went mainstream. There's NO indication whatsoever that they shifted gears when it blew up. In fact, they stood their ground and fought against the censorship and defended the game's content when it got attacked in the mainstream. There's very little about this discussion that's constructive, you're here because you don't like a game that's made its mark in the mainstream because it doesn't fulfil what you personally want it to be, which is something it's never tried to be. I was patreon before steam release but not from the beginning, older version I played had Stephanie topless with wine (they already removed the combat system), shortly after they added the quest where you can get the blowjob.
Game was aiming to being social simulator with quest help rather than quest based, they planned to have multiple approaches with girls from just giving gift to choose the right line to do quest for them...plan was multiple approaches to get all girls but it developed in a quest based game with mutually exclusive girls (well not that it matters since it can be easily modded).
Also another inspiration was xstory player: Stephanie had (and still has) the skirt that lift, Ashley has the top that goes off rather that just disappear, the ancient fight scene with Frank was about throwing items against him.....that stuff was never developed, introducing combat system is a good sign.

Some powerful stuff is still outed from CSC. Console command can change size of people and bodypart. Also didn't they doubled the game space adding the garden? This kind of stuff has more potential than anything else. Expanding and taking new people for working the game can be meaningless if they focus so much on plot movie details without changing mechanics: just give more raw mechanics updates and modder will brought more complex stories anyway.

This game was always intended to be an adventure game (in classic sense), but with the main distinctive feature being explicit sex scenes as rewards. So unlike for example old Leasure Suit Larry games, can't be considered just erotic or softporn game. But it is also not just a porn since maybe 5-10% of what you do in the game could be considered porn, rest being party shenanigans that people still put on Youtube (with porn/nudity bits removed/censored).

Obviously, it is not for everyone, but I think devs multiple times sayed in forums that House Party is not a sex sim, so that is why not all focus is on sex positions, etc...

Personally I think it works. Due to multiple ways you can get to the girls, game is very replayable and does not get boring quickly. Also, voice over work is plain awesome in this game. You can see that all VO work is done by professional actors.

I've seen so many developers trying to make mix of sex and some other genre, and usually, they fail in the gameplay part of their games since most of their experience was in making sex scenes and not actual games. This game is pretty much other way around.
