Yes. Now there are ways to get keys back. Either Derek will leave them in kitchen in some paths, while in some other paths he will give them back to you, or you could loot them.

If she didn't have any lines, you dowloaded the alpha/beta of an update, not the actual update.
They do their updates in 3 releases. An alpha release that adds the skeleton of the new content (but no new voice dialog yet), a beta that bugfixes/expands on the alpha update, and then a final update (that adds the voice dialog). Sometimes there is 1-2 more releases with more bugfixes.
Sounds like you downloaded an alpha, and are upset it wasn't AAA quality.

For fucks sake, why do I have to explain myself for losing interest in a game? I never said I lost interest because she didn't have any lines or because I couldn't bang her. I just said that this was the last time I tried the game and after years without an end in sight I just lost interest waiting for the finished product.
by any chance did the developers facilitate the gameplay or does the player have to play Sherlock Holmes to discover the quest?

Wanted to try this game because it has combat but it has the most fucking awful combat system in any game I've ever played. Opponents are way overpowered, they take less damage and deal way more damage, animations are so bad, most of my punches don't even hit them even when I allign them perfectly, mechanics are slow as fuck and dodging is useless. I just can tell that developers didn't throw a single punch in their entire lives (except maybe when they slam their keyboard because they ran out of mountain dew).

They didn't and they won't. Their mindset is that their game is "story-driven", so this "Sherlock Holmes" style of gameplay is intended. I also don't like it very much, but that is what they can do.
My suggestion is to play custom stories. And to fiddle around with the console. I had much more fun that way. You can do a lot of stuff, besides removing clothing. You can make girls tits bigger/smaller; you can make 2 NPC have sex; make them dance and pose; and you can cheat through the quests if you are interested in the "plot" but not in searching stuff.

Aren't the custom stories hosted on their forum? How many are there that still work? As for doing things with the console, you may as well install Sims 3 or 4 since it's less work. If you like doing work with poor tools then something like VAM is probably better since you can get something more complex. Honestly, I still haven't really worked out the audience for this. Don't Nod fans, maybe?
