You sure those are questions?

Sounds more like your nitpicking to me, besides, if you got a problem with that take it up with the devs of the game, I think.
Wow...

- "What the hell is with the mouse delay." = Legit fucking question.
- "Is there any way to turn voice overs off?" = Again, legit fucking question.
- #3 is also a legit bug that keeps me from saving properly.
- "I keep seeing afterimages when people move, What do I flip in the graphics options to fix this?" = Again, ffs it's a legit fucking question I need help with. You're NOT helping though.
- 5 & 6 are admittedly a nitpick.

Since you're new here, how about you NOT talk if you're NOT going to help. Did you even read any of the questions I listed or did you just decide to be a pretentious asshat? Are you one of the actual game devs? Cause that's what you sound like.

Dude, chill. It's called early access. The game is still under development. If the game was version 1.0 and they weren't working on it anymore, you'd have some valid complaints, but everything you mentioned is forgivable for an early access game.

Judging from your response, you don't know anything about the devs of this game because they're actually pretty cool, and they listen to feedback, even from us here where we're blatantly downloading their game for free. They're easily accessible, which is rare for a game that's gotten this big. If you read through this thread, you will see multiple people attest to that, so don't act like they're assholes that don't do anything and would negate actual criticism. I've even chatted with one of them in their Discord. If you actually post turning off the voice over text as a feature request, you'd probably see it done in the next few updates.

To answer your questions with what I know of the game:

1. I don't feel a mouse delay. Not sure what's going on there, but I don't feel like I'm getting the same experience as you. Maybe something to report to the devs as it might be a rare case.
2. No, but honestly, I would like to see this too, so a feature request would be a good idea, as I said.
3. I've seen this bug. I would imagine they're aware of it. It only happens sometimes though.
4. Not sure what you're talking about here. My graphics seem fine.
5. If you play through the stories, there's actually a reason it's designed that way. There are quests that depend on that mechanic.
6. Ever hear of Rachael Ray? It's a valid way to spell the name. This is partly why you are coming off as nit picky.

Dude, chill.
Hey man. If you look at my first post on here, I was actually pretty civil til Cybersnake89 decided to be a dick and decided to just point me elsewhere and brush me off with his reply, didn't even actually contribute to anything or help with the issues I was having with the game. Plus, I had no idea this was early access. That's why I was asking for help with the issues I was having from people who were already familiar. As I stated in my first post here. So apologies if I suddenly became hostile but stupid shit like that just pisses me off.

See? This is was I was talking about. THANK YOU. Sincerely. At least you actually contributed something helpful. And as I admitted before, only 5 & 6 were the genuine nitpicks but I was genuinely wondering if there maybe was a mechanic related to leaving one door open like if someone were to maybe walk into one of the open doors or something.

How do I report bugs/suggest features to the game devs? I only ever even heard of this game because of game grumps... Do they have an official game bug tracker or something? Because my problem #1-4 still happens and I can't play a game like this properly if I can't save.

If the game devs are cool, then I'm sorry I hurled that insult. It's just that most game devs I've seen & talked to, if you even so much as ask something they don't like about the game, they get hostile or defensive about it like you insulted their mothers or something.

And no. I have no idea who Rachael Ray is and did not know that Rachael was a legit way to spell that name because I've only ever heard or seen it as "Rachel".

What the hell is with the mouse delay? I move my mouse, and it takes half a second for the POV/crosshair to catch up where I'm aiming. It's super fucking annoying because the sensitivity doesn't help with it. The delay is always there.
Sounds like an issue with V-Sync and frame-rate. Nothing to do with sensitivity or mouse acceleration, it's simply how long the game takes to poll and register your mouse movement.

Is there any way to turn voice overs off? It seems pretty stupid having subtitles if I can hear the people talking to me anyway. And vice versa. It completely defeats the point.
None as of now for the official story, though custom user stories on the Eek! forums aren't voiced.

Sometimes when I try to save a game, the save naming menu starts SUPER FUCKING TINY and zooms in SUPER FUCKING SLOWLY like you're watching the Star Wars opening crawl or that special episode of spongebob where the tiny krabby patty takes forever to zoom-in on purpose. What the hell is up with this and how do I fix it?
Standard early access shenanigans. They'll probably iron it out at some point.

Why is the games graphics so trippy? I keep seeing afterimages when people move, like when they walk, or wave their arms, they leave trails of themselves... What do I flip in the graphics options to fix this?
Disable in-game anti-aliasing and force it externally if this is an issue. The in-game Anti-aliasing option is temporal AA, which will have horrific bleeding if you're on low-ish frames per second (which seems to be the case, judging by your early question about mouse input)

Who the hell programmed how to open & close multidoors in this game? Why program it so that you have to literally open/close one door at a time when a room or closet has 2 doors? Why not open/close both simultaneously when you choose the option to open/close it. This is just stupid and unecessary in a video game. Hell even in real life when you open double doors to a small room you usually open both at the same time.
Legitimate grievance. Try going on their forums and raising this issue, might have more luck with it that way

Also what's with "Rachael"? Is that even a real name? I feel like someone screwed up naming her Rachel and copped out by not bothering to fix their typo...
Different parts of the world spell things differently, and names are no exception. Think beyond the borders of the USA.

I would suggest checking out their Discord. There's a link to it right in the main menu of the game. They have a bug-report channel. One or two of the devs are fairly active in there, and they will probably get back to you, especially if you ping them. I think the one that is on this forum is Erasmus.

Re: the doors, yes you can hide in closets, and usually if only one door is open, they can't see you. It comes in handy in Ashley/Madison's quests.

I tested on enabled & disabled vsync and that didn't help at all. Left my framerate on 60 during the tests though... should I try to lower it? Or raise it?

Damn. That's kind of detrimental to the experience what with giant walls of dialogue sometimes blocking the girls' face or entire sexy body...

I'll try these and see. Haven't touched the in-game AA yet.

Thanks. Also, Erasmus as in-- "ErasmusTheOwl"?

Ohh. Weird mechanic... Does that mean you're not hidden if both doors are closed or something?

Nah it's like Eek-Erasmus or something. He has a couple posts here and there on this forum if you scroll back a bit.

No you are still hidden if both are closed, but you can see out if one is open and still not be detected on certain quests.

I actually had that issue with vertical mouse scrolling. And limiting frame rate to 60 fixed it. Discovered it by accident. Pretty much used 60fps limit all the time, and once changed to unlimited to try to see how it works and then got the problem.

Note that lower frame rates do not lead to issue, only those higher then 60.

I don't seem to have the issue on any frame-rate, though I do think the game just runs better in general with the default 60 FPS limit. It just run smoother it seems for me. Probably because if your GPU is trying to spit out as many FPS as possible and something happens in the game, it chugs. At least that's my experience.

Hooooly CRAP v0.10.4 made a BIG difference in terms of lighting!
Not only did they improve the quality of lighting in the house, but now it also produces better shadows where it makes sense, especially on the characters' bodies (they previously received little to no shadows, resulting in mannequin bodies).

And on top of all that, now there's different colors of lighting, depending on the environment! It finally makes sense!
For example: The flat screen TV in the living room, now causes part of the room to have some blue-ish lighting, due to the light that comes out of the TV.

Also, the decoration is better, especially the new lamps in the bedroom.

The only issue (still as before) are the rather bland bodies of the characters (female chars, dont care about the males), especially Ashley and Katherine. They are still lacking in terms of texture quality, and they look like they could use some reflection on them (a bit of an oily effect) to get away from that bland mannequin-ish look.

P.S. The game seems like it loads AND runs a bit faster now, in spite of the actual improvements in graphics. I have NOT tested this, just the first impression so far.
