Ahem. When was this? Prior to running the executable, prior to the splash/input and graphics settings loading, prior to starting a new game?

So specifically, this started after you already could run 0.7.0 or 0.7.1, and NOT upon first trying one or the other? Ruled out other, even seemingly unrelated PC updates? This is a new error to me.
In case anyone is thinking it: no, there was no protection of any sort added to the game.

Yes ,I could not run either. upon trying either of them. Both 32 and 64bit. The last version that I could and can still run was 6.6. After getting the files from the torrent, I tried to run the game and the error shows up, but does not show up when I run 6.6. So, its a new one to me as well. Not sure if its some missing files as I only downloaded the Win32 and Win64 only as a note.

I had the same issue: it's on the part where Katherine asks you to expose yourself to everyone. If you already finished rachael's path, you get a reaction from rachael like you are undressing with her in the bedroom and it doesn't count as exposing yourself to her, and thus you can't complete that step for katherine.

So after getting Katherine into the room with the laptop and running through all of Rachael's dare spoofed texts, and getting Katherine to the point where she was 75% ready to fuck, she required you to flash all the guests before moving on. Well, that part was looping without completing. After flashing her and everybody else, I would talk to her and get no progress, but could flash her again to get her same 'Good thing you thought to flash me too' response.

Hm. Well...I can't really say for sure why. It could conceivably be an issue if you have Unity installed on the same machine and there's some sort of conflict. Could also be a Visual C++/.Net error. So fully uninstalling Unity (if that's an option) and/or making sure any MS files are updated properly could be solutions. 0.6.6 is a Steam-only version so, it is somewhat unlikely that you have Steam, use Steam and play Steam games, stay on top of Windows updates (I am assuming), AND have MS VC++ or .NET 'framework/Redistributable' component issues. I suppose some part of the unzip process could have caused an issue, but again, hard to tell.
There are some logs that are generated by the game. IDK if you have them cause of how early the game crashed, but here is what I'd need:

.DMP file (only generated when you get an error that says something like "The game crashed. The crash report folder named 'DATE_ID' placed next to game executable. Send to the developer of the game!"): Will either be located in your Steam install directory as referenced above for the Apps log, near the actual executable for House Party, OR if you ran a standalone build of the game this log will be in the folder you placed that .exe in.
Also please have a screenshot or some form of capture of the in-game Debug Log (press the F5 key when playing) when the problem occurred, if possible.

- I have had no zip files from the 0.7 or 0.71 torrents. These are the only two torrents I've downloaded so if I need a previous build to install these patches over, I am unaware of that.
- I received the error with and without unity installed.
- I use steam daily. So its running 24/7 and updated.
- Windows is up to date, sfc scan has reported no window files related issues.
- I have Visual C++ 2005,2008,2010,2012,2013 and 2017. Assuming that they are using an updated unity build, I should be aligned with the required Visual C++ package.
- I have .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.7 in which I think I'm updated on that front as well.
- I have no logs in the appdata/local/eek folder nor in steam as I don't own the game yet, so nothing in steam Eek Related.

I went ahead and grabbed a copy from the OP's Mega link which is 7.0 and that worked just fine. Maybe there some corrupted files on the latest torrents that is causing this error. Trying to copy over any files from the 7.1 torrent to the 7.0 mega files causes the same error, including with and without overwritting the exe. So that to me points to a bad file from the torrents.

I'm also having trouble with this. I have her bar as high as I think it can go and still get the "I'll talk to you later, Stephanie" option after she is naked and nothing else. Any help?
Yeah, frankly this makes the most sense given the scarcity of errors we've noted popping up before the game can even run (and that weren't related to anti-virus policies, GPU/driver issues, etc.). I didn't want to go the easy route and call attention to "the method of distribution" :winkytongue:.

Did the start quest "Redemption" and "candy man" ? You must talk to frankie about the weed beforehand and he ask you for $50 which you don't have. you must then whore yourself out to Steph for the money.
Alright so I confirmed this; to anyone having this problem, for now you need to drop a one-liner on Rachael ("What's your sign?" etc) so that her meters decrease. This will make any attempt at flashing her piss her off as it normally would, and then Katherine will treat her as having been flashed. Ticket is in otherwise, will get it addressed when there's time.
Edit: specifically, piss Rachael off with a one liner while clothed, THEN reflash her. You may need to re-zip and unzip yourself afterwards as part of this process, depending on the intimacy/nudity timer state (we have a timer that runs upon seeing each individual incident of nudity and prevents NPC's from reacting to that incident so you don't get GASP GASP GASP WOW WOW WOW every 3 seconds).
