To give you a suggestion it would be the first step to know what kind of gameplay you like.

Me? I like adventure games so this is for me, text adventures were my first adult games. So I find it fun to play the game as it was meant to be, as and adventure game.
Of course it is possible to progress without a guide. The people who wrote the guide did. A guide can help to find items in the house however.
The bad as pect is that you can get into bad ends or game over, other than in most modern adventures.

I would also suggest saving before any choices you feel are important. Save scumming be damned, if it gets you to see everything you want to, who cares?
This way you can keep all your progress without having to redo it in the event you do screw up, the save feature's there for a reason, after all.

Most changes are QOL and graphically since then I believe. Lots of new DLC and customisations too. I'd recommend getting the latest by now, but maybe hang onto your older version in case the newer ones don't suit your tastes for some reason.

I don't think the Liz Katz DLC was added until 1.1.3 so you'd have a whole DLC to complete. I think the Doja Cat DLC was added after 1.0 also. So if you haven't played those, there's a lot more content.

Used to be. Link for the download's down as far as I know and you'd need the right game version for it to. Guy who was making it said if he continued it at all it'd most likely be when House Party stopped getting updates, cause that's where the trouble with updating the mod went.

Havnt seen any updates on Eek's socials, but they did say we'll be hearing more in the coming months. Might get some news for the following holidays.

Not really but there is a Steam store listing for it. I wouldn't expect it until 2025-2026 probably.

If you just want the achievements.
I have the "Male-Savefiles" for this guide.

Copy the savefiles in "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\LocalLow\Eek\House Party\Saves"
There is a file "HP Saves.txt" in which I made an order to finish everything in a better oder than in the guide.

I don't have the "Female-Savefiles".
I speedrunned the female-playtrough for the last achievements (Sorry).

The character customiser we have now is just a slight TASTE of the kind of customisation we'll be getting in office party apparently. It's gonna be great, I'm sure.

Funny thing I had fuck doja cat mod, remember it was o nexusmods, didn't save because it didn't work perfectly (animations were buggy so I waited for update) but now it disappeared, if I knew, I'd save it...

I mean yeah it sucks but the author said he lost his source code and would have to remake it from scratch. Which is the main reason we haven't seen any updates. The second reason is that he has to update it every time a new version of the game releases. I doubt we'll see it soon, but I'm sure someone here still has mod. I'll message the author and see if he still has the compiled code.
