I mean, it's been a month since they released the character creator on patreon. But I honestly don't see the appeal. Like, why would someone be interested in just a character creator? If anything, i don't understand why he never introduced a proper character creator for house party. Does unity not support character creator? Is office party in UE5?

we're just hungry for anything at this point. it also gives us a glimpse into what the new character creation system is like.

House Party very obviously uses Daz assets, like the Blaire one that what feels like every single Ren'Py game uses, too. The characters are just heavily downgraded, because Daz is anything but game ready.
So I'm guessing they changed up their pipeline for Office Party. For example, it's relatively easy to create blend shapes in Blender and use those for character creators in game engines like Unity. Might still be based on exported Daz assets, though.

Okay, everybody laughed but no one replied...
I can see that this game has fans. What do you enjoy about it? I fail to see what the entertainment is?
Besides my trouble walking (3d games are just creepy), I did several "rounds" in all the house rooms and the outside and find it super boring. I started reading the thread, trying to figure out what's this supposed to be about, from the comments.
This is what I found on page 3:
To get Madison naked: NOTE: it's currently not possible to get both sisters naked in the same playthrough. You get one or the other.
1. Talk to Madison and tell her you'd like to get to know her better.
2. Talk to Madison again and ask her where the bathroom is.
3. Grab Madison's phone from the bathroom.
4. Give Madison's phone to Ashley. IMPORTANT: make sure that Madison is not around when you do this.
5. Tell Ashley that you're in (again, make sure that Madison isn't around).
6. Go to the end of the hall upstairs, and retrieve the pencil from the end table in the spare bedroom and the sheet of paper from the study.
7. Go to the master bedroom and look for the book on top of the dresser. Make sure that Madison is not in the room.
8. On the book, select "Use with" and then select the sheet of paper.
9. On the paper, select "Use with" and then select the pencil.
10. Go into the walk in closet and look for the safe. You might want to check again to make sure that Madison hasn't walked in.
11. Use the code you got from the paper/pencil on the book to open the safe and take Madison's diary.
12. Give Madison's diary to Ashley (I've not done this in front of Madison, so I don't know whether she'd react to this or not, but realistically she should, so make sure she isn't around).
13. Open your inventory, select Madison's phone, and inspect it.
14. Click on Photos, then click on either Messages or E-Mail to send the photos to your phone.
15. Give Madison her phone back.
16. Talk to Madison about the photos on her phone. Follow her to the master bedroom.
You should be able to figure things out from here!
OMG SIXTEEN STEP (and still not complete) of performing completely unnatural course of action to achieve this 1 thing? I got tired just reading it. And there I thought this game is just about hanging around party and reacting naturally (when I tried talking to a hot guy, he reacted with some boring talk about people getting drunk, showing me "Not Interested" in avatar. I approached another, he started walking away. When I tried entering a hot tub, it did not let me). This is not something I would naturally do on a party. There are other things to achieve, but it hardly looks worth it. This really turned me off the game.

The main story is designed with a lot of branching, exclusive paths with replayability in mind but if you want something simple and more straight to the action you can download custom stories in-game. You'll have to set up an account with the forum but it's pretty straightforward and there are several good ones worth getting (including the one below).
Some of the older ones don't work correctly and cause T-posing when you load a save but you can sort by most recent to see what ones have been updated and when.
