Recently played through this in Japanese as well. Didn't care much for the gameplay, and the grind for relationship points was a bit ridiculous considering how many characters there are. Y'all might want to use Cheat Engine with this one.

wow the pics and background really contrast and pretty much ruin it at the pics for me. would be nice if the pixel art had at least 2x the number of pixels
yeah, if the art was a little bit more detailed the game would be good. No idea what they were thinking with number of pixels

Jeeez... I think my Atari buried somewhere in the attic has better pixel graphics than this. It makes me wonder how and why you'd use such nice backgrounds then destroy the characters that are supposed to be the focus of the game.

The scaling is way off on the characters vs. backgrounds as well. The characters look to be about a third of size they should be - if that large. The first screen shot shows the character (whoever or whatever that is supposed to be) is barely as tall as the footboard on the bed. I hope they've got an elevator as well, as the characters shown in front of the stairs couldn't possibly climb them without hooks and ropes.
