I'm going to leave a totally personal silly little "complaint".
Beta points serve to be more romantic and gentle, right?
So if I go this route, it doesn't mean that the protagonist will be a beta man who accepts everything they tell him, humbles himself, or lacks willpower. It only serves to be more gentle and romantic.
In general, I like it. But if this is so, the names of the points (Alpha and Beta) have nothing to do with personality. And I think the wrong message is being delivered. According to this, being generous, kind and gentle makes you a beta man. And being pushy and aggressive makes you an Alpha man... I honestly don't think so.
Like I said, both routes are perfect. The only thing that doesn't fit me is the name. I insist that it gives the wrong message. I think it would have been better to give them another name. Rebellion points and Chivalry points, for example. Something like that.
And... I'm not a fan of domination, but if Octavia treats me kindly, I'm willing to make her my Mommy.
