the developer said to me that the english version will be made by dlsite after all bugs on the japanese version will be fixed.
yeh its best to wait for bugs to be discovered from the JP version before relating it to the ENG version
so maybe in a couple of days hopefully

Hi thanks for your reply, and yes i am a 1000% sure i bought it on DLsite.com. Also while i was looking around for answers i saw this article you just linked too AAAAAND i found another game that has the very same behaviour.

this one=>

I'm under the impression everytime a game is made with RPG MAKER MV and is done on the same way, basically only having inside the game's folder the "www" folder and the "game.exe" executable. at the moment you launch the game it will do exactly always the same action, try to reach out a outgoing connection and create these files...

Now seeing this is a whole different creator i guess then it must be a false positive (by the way this one made actually 20 files but only 4 of them were detected as potentially malicious)

Still it's kinda freaky, i wonder if the ones we can download here do the same ? Anyways i still would appreciate if there was some with knowledge on this that could enlighten us me x) i really still don't trust it but i really wanna play the game...

So any IT dude super hero to save us ?

I'm the kind the prefers to be safe than sorry...
it is really concerning if your PC is going to get hacked but rest assured that the article I sent you. i use the default windows defender and I downloaded the game from here and there is nothing wrong

its offtopic thing but I have downloaded repacked unlocked games and AV just give me like an alert on steam API or hack tool but this is just to have the game played

Dl site always check for any malware that will effect your PC in quote Unfortunately, we cannot negotiate directly with foreign software manufacturers regarding problems with the efficacy of their software.
DLsite carefully checks all its products using the latest versions of anti-virus tools prior to sale, so please rest assured and make use of our website with a sense of security.

Not an IT superhero but i believe this is because the game is indeed created using rpgmaker and probably runs on something like node.js (and as such is actually deploying a local web server and running in a html container). I do not personally like the solution and it kind of triggers false alarms easily too, but it should not cause problems on your pc.

If you are worried then play on your phone using Joiplay, it basically emulates necessary parts for rpgmaker games to run directly. You may have to figure out how to download and use joiplay tho, but its pretty simple honestly.

I simply prefer running rpgmaker games on my phone and in general run almost all my porn games on my phone just in case. Emulating windows os through winlator in worst case...

Well i did a little more digging, and i'm 95% sure that's it's most likely a false positive. You see, most RPGmaker games we get have all the files and folders around teh game.exe, but this one only has the WWW folder and the Game_Boxed.exe... I was looking around what these stranges files named evb****.exe are and found out this=>
or this

It seems the program used to do this trick where the whole game is inside the Game_Boxed.exe is by using this software called Enigma Virtual Box. It basically encrypt the whole game inside a virtualization .exe. Also they clearly state that the files names begin by "evb" followed by a random short code which dictate what will run inside it and is a .tmp file.

And to top things up, i found MANY, REALLY A TOOOON of post on their forums from people complaining about tons of false positives because of these .tmp files or even the whole packaged thing. Problem is, why would a dev even think about using this software if all it does is give a absurd amount of false positives accros many AV's...

To makes things worse, some posts date from back in 2008 xD, which means ever since back in 2008 these false positive exist and the dev's of this software don't want to make changes on the way it operates they put the blame on the AV's xD

DLsite by default if anything is unusal should catch these things. After all its in their buisness interest to prevent anything like that.
If you dont trust it either wait till it drops here and then wait a week to see if people report something.
Or run it in a sandbox & set the box to block/prevent any sort of internet connection.

For the future going foward post the VT links if you want to ask around next time. Besides the signature scan of VT. You can also check relation results for any possible IP it could have contacted when tested. So you can see if it actually contacted a known IP used to drop payloads and so on.
Or the sandbox analysis itself of the VT report gives much more insight.

Hi everyone, i bought that game today (in japanese version) on the DLsite. And i was wondering, when i launched the game my AV alerted me about both a outgoing connection from their Game_boxed.exe file (the .exe file that launches the game) and also the creation of about 18 ".tmp" files on my C:/Users/"my user name"/AppData/Local/Temp folder. About 4 of these files have nothing written inside but the 14 others do (some weird code i can't understand) and they are very small in size, just being 2Mb only.

I block the outgoing connection, but these files kinda got me a little concerned, my AV only alerted my about these files but didn't say they were dangerous, i tried scanning them then with another AV (Malwarebytes) and it detected nothing, but Roguekiller did detect these 14 files with weird code as potentially dangerous.

I then went to Virustotal, which their on their scan, out of 70 vendors about 6 to 10 of them (depending on the file i uploaded) go flagged as a threat.

I'm not a IT genius, which is why i'm concerned i wanted to know if anyone had the same experience? Also between 6 to 10 vendors flagging it as dangerous could it be a false positive? I saw that some of their results were flagged a "GEN" or "Heur" or "Trojan.agent", i've heard that often this could be potentially a false positive, also the most distinguished anti-virus didn't detect it as dangerous such as Bitdefender, Kapers and Symantec (owners of Norton product which is my active anti-virus).

So i'm asking here if any kind soul could enlighten me about it? I've played other RPG Maker MV games and this is the 1st one a see react like this, creating stranges files and trying to reach to do outbound and inbound connections to somewhere...

And sorry for the kinda long post i'm just a little bit worried so go easy on me please X(...

PS: I already Deleted the said weird files as of now and also deleted the game so i can't remember what these files were named exactly but i think one of these files was named evbF9C8.tmp

I have a question, man, and I don't know if you can answer. Do you know of any method to pay on DsLite? I have tried with my Visa card, but it doesn't accept my credit card and the one I saw that it offers as a payment method is the JCB credit card, which I can't get.
