The trailer and the character looked pretty generic, tbhNot trying to bloat the thread (and kinda doing it at the same time) but Hydra and a bunch of other artists about to make generational wealth with the new protagonist from RE9

My word was boring. It's like they took a character with brown hair normally and just switched it to white. There's nothing exotic. The character looks like they just left their teens. Nothing like Jill or Leon who are badass fucking characters that have a unique look. (notice how I left claire out? yea, she doesn't fit that bad ass protagonist look, at least to me). Ethan gets a pass (who is definitely who she resembles the most, especially Ethan at the end of Village) because he is just a badass father. This protag looks like a depressed young adult that got sucked into a horror game and just wants to go home.the character looked pretty generic
She looks like a typical "white chick from a Japanese game". I think maybe they didn't base the character on a real-life model this time. The trailer and the character looked pretty generic, tbh
What are you talking aboutShe looks like a typical "white chick from a Japanese game". I think maybe they didn't base the character on a real-life model this time.
And they had to use 2 white chicks irl to make Ashley lol, Sophie (PeachMilky) for the body and Ella Freya for the face. Ashley was the Ultimate Blonde Chick lolIf anything, Ashley looks more typical white chick than the new girl. Ashley is blonde too
Didn't knew that but yeah she's the most generic blonde chick lolAnd they had to use 2 white chicks irl to make Ashley lol, Sophie (PeachMilky) for the body and Ella Freya for the face. Ashley was the Ultimate Blonde Chick lol
I never understood why video game studios use face models. Not all studios have them and the characters look great. And then I found out Capcom used a separate body model for remake Ashley. What are they gonna do next? Throw in outfit sets in a photogrammetry setup? Maybe rule34 creators will eventually scan their own dicks in the future. And they had to use 2 white chicks irl to make Ashley lol, Sophie (PeachMilky) for the body and Ella Freya for the face. She only did the body. She said so herself in a tweet. Mocap and modeling are completely different fields. If I'm not mistaken, PeachMilky does a bit of the mocap and generally has experience modelling. If you divide up the work into modelling and acting, you get both done at the same time at different studios, since they need different sets of equipment.
Also Peach is a lovely person, please give her your support.
I wouldn't say "generic" I'd say she's the ultimate as in "perfection" in short haired blonde.Didn't knew that but yeah she's the most generic blonde chick lol
Genevieve Buechner did Ashley's voice acting and mocap. The actress could do the motion capture stuff while a different team works on the character's likeness so I don't see separate work loads as a plus for using face and body models. If I'm not mistaken, PeachMilky does a bit of the mocap and generally has experience modelling. Hydra’s putting out consistent quality and that’s what matters. If you’re not feeling it, that’s fine but no need to bring negativity into a space where people are just here to appreciate the art.Oh great. this whole month is going to be flooded with Eve's bland ass. Oh well at least the quality is still there and if he likes making them then thats all that matters.
My dude people are allowed to voice a negative thing about an artist's work they otherwise like. This is a content thread, not an appreciation thread.Hydra’s putting out consistent quality and that’s what matters.
