Hmmm, I also think it is time for a community review.... I have a lot of things working, but I am still (very) unhappy with the renders and the text, which are the core components of this thing. The trainer and gameplay elements are sorta done.

I'm in a bit of a break for the Holidays, but I can commit to a small grind to get things packaged. Let's shoot for Middle of March for a dev build.

Major delay expected

My computer broke and after spending a good day trying to fix it. I'm gonna throw in the towel.

The project files are safe. Verified it myself in one of my older comps. (Also have cloud backup)

The problem lies in new hardware literally coming out in a few weeks (AMD stuff) and if I'm gonna build a new rig, I might as well try to buy the latest in the line.

I do understand people want something interesting to happen and I do intend to deliver. Please give me until May15 to get a build going. The game is actually pretty far along.

I'll share some screenshots and progress later in March and April leading up to the release once I'm up and running again.

Мій комп’ютер зламався, і я провів гарний день, намагаючись це виправити. Я кину рушник.

Файли проекту безпечні. Перевірив це сам на одному зі своїх старих компів. (Також є хмарне резервне копіювання)

Проблема полягає в тому, що нове апаратне забезпечення з’явиться буквально за кілька тижнів (продукти AMD), і якщо я збираюся створювати нову установку, я міг би також спробувати купити останню в лінійці.

Я розумію, що люди хочуть, щоб сталося щось цікаве, і я маю намір це зробити. Дайте мені час до 15 травня , щоб розпочати збірку. Гра насправді досить далеко.

Пізніше в березні та квітні я поділюся деякими знімками екрана та поділюся прогресом до випуску, коли я знову запрацюю.

the game was abandoned ages ago. If you're talking about the attempt at a fan remake, I have no idea.

That'd be the fan remake that jeckdex has been working on as a hobby for several years now. You can browse through the various posts to see what's been going on with that if you're interested.

If you only care about the original game then it's extremely unlikely to come back due to patreon cracking down on sexual content in general with both non-consensual sex and incest being the cause of many creators getting banned from the platform.

So, I have explaining to do...

I wanted to get a release happening May15 and worked towards that since January of this year but I'm sorry to say that's not happening.

What happened:
The generic answers of life and work: Tech isn't doing so hot and I had to lay off people from my team but the workload didn't changed so it had to be absorbed by the rest of us.

Also Khazan and Clair Obscur were very fun games that ate up my time. So not all bad.


What's happening:
After working on it on and off I'm realizing it's not at the quality I want so I am delaying it again. My apologies.
Also the reason I picked 15 of May is I'm taking my family on vacation for 3 weeks. So it won't come soon.

What will happen:
After multiple delays, I'm quickly realizing that if this side project isn't prioritized, it won't get done. So going forward (mid June to late June). I will be working on this game as my primary side project.

There will be noticable difference on updates, I can guarantee that much.

Can't wait to play test the new version and find bugs. Will you be remaking the game mechanic from ground up? Remember my suggestions from years ago? What are your ideas? Wish you all the best!

Here is my idea:
Have "Obedience" renamed "Submissiveness", and have "Shyness" functionality be replaced by it and "Affinity".

Reasoning:
While "Shyness" in the original made sense it was a bit redundant for such a mechanically simple game. If a girl likes you and/or has a submissive nature, she won't turn your gift down. As for the renaming, "Obedience" seems a bit too powerful as the game deals with more subtle aspects of the fetish.

Unless, you want to create a game that delves deeply into psychological aspects of the fetish. Then "Shyness" is a must, and you will probably want to add even more stats!

What do you think? Do I make any sense? Or am I rumbling as always? Sorry if it sounds like I'm lecturing.

Thank you for understanding! I took this on as a pet project but after taking an embarrassing amount on time on it, it's time I sit down and go through the hard stuff I'm putting off. Updates will happen more frequently going forward

I am very grateful for your patience, time and interest, demo soon! I did note down your suggestion and made the change. I'm looking forward to more of your input once I get this thing compiling and on the right direction
