Weekly Update time. Didn't get as much done this week, but most gadgets were jotted down. Actually weeded a few out that wouldn't work/be practical. I currently have 18 but want a nice 20. Not sure on what I'll do next after this part. Might be time to get on quests/missions.

Hmm...These are great so far. Trying to think of something that isn't too like the others or to at least get thoughts flowing (normal ones. That totally aren't influenced in any way. Promise.). Maybe some sort of smoke/inhalant w/effects? Fill the chamber with it, since most of the bits are tech or a physical item. You've got the bases covered otherwise; projectile, wear-ables, accesories, sound, tech, light, liquid...Gas is all that really comes to mind as 'missing' XD Besides maybe...idk, parasite for lack of a better term. Some sort of 'living' thing that enacts control (from a nanomachine, face-hugger w/o covering the actual face since most effects are very expression-based, a slime or tiny 'bug' or something)? Just spit-balling and hoping to help for those last couple ones you want~

I actually have some ideas I want to save for a "DLC" write up. For example, one idea I had was a genie that wouldn't need to be hypnotized for the intern to erotically engage with her, but could also be summoned as a means to hypnotizing and interacting with others.

Edit: I got the other two decided. Thanks for the advice, actually helped. The game you linked gave me advice for a new device, and writing it causes a funny auto correct from Google. One thing I was typing was "pinch a nipple" and Google, being the progressive billion-dollar corporation, auto-corrected it to "punch a nipple". Meanwhile, several actually typos keep slipping past them.

Edit 2: Decided to make the next update to be for the building of Ivory Peaks itself. Might not have to wait for Saturday for the next update.

I dig the idea, and glad I was able to help as well~! Looking forward to that update as always. Are you familiar w/Trello? I'd highly recommend it for organizing stuff, I've found it great for all sorts of creative projects.

Nothing too big update wise, Just been working on and off on what the quests would be. In other words, how to get the actual get everything. Game would be divided into 3 major acts (Act 1 is mostly the original game). Also, the Conference room would have a whiteboard where the mysterious H.T. writes hints for the intern to help with whichever quests are available (the whiteboard in the main testing chamber is used to hang achievements). I'm currently finishing up Act 1's quests, and hope to have Acts 2 and 3 done by next week. Anyway, here's how the structure will look using what's easily the worst mission in the original game as the baseline.

It was actually this awful section that inspired the whiteboard in the conference room to begin with.

Was able to make way more progress today than I expected. A lot of Act 2 is done now, and most of it will be focused on unlocking extra ladies (although the mystery girl doesn't appear properly until Act 3).

Edit: Updated earlier parts of the doc to better reflect how the quests would work. Some previews I posted here are outdated now.

Okay, back with an update: working on the design for Noelle's major side quest (Noelle is the MILF from Winter Of Music, btw). Her quest is "Follow The Money" and mentions at a whopping $1,000,000 has gone missing. She doubts it's serious theft, and if probably Helen just messing around with them again ("Why Kady keeps that big-titted imp around is anyone's guess"). She found a bundle of $50,000 hidden in her office, and instructs the Intern to find the rest. If they manage to recover the million and return it to Noelle without raising a fuse to anyone, she'll agree to join the Test-Subject Sign Up and let the intern have their fun.

If talking about the Visor gadget, you have to flick a few channels, keep changing them until the one with the visor appears, then wait until the screen fills with the spiral. Then you'll be transported to another area

So about the lore of this game, what is going on? Did some aliens take over Earth? That kinda doesn't make sense, since this game is connected to Snow Daze and things seems fine there. But well, it's a porn game so I probably shouldn't put this much thought into it.

Nah for real, I have no fuckin' clue. All that it says on the itch.io and Steam pages say that you're an intern participating in some trials or such, and you have Kady (the chick) as your lab assistant "trying out" some gadgets. The rest of the scenery, if I had to guess, is for gags or to be visually interesting.

If there's any lore, I'm kinda down, especially for explaining the aliens part and the unrelated (but still cool) Overwhored map/secret area

Oh yeah, I forgot you could hypnotize yourself, hot minute since I've played it. Explains the bizarre locations.

If anyone follows this thread and is interested, I have finally delivered on my promise, or least done the part of it. Here is what would be the player's guide for HypnoLab2: Going Under. I have made it a Microsoft Word Document (.docx) and a Rich Text Format (.rtf), but apparently PDF is the one format this site supports for this kind of thing. This will not contain dialogue yet, that will come at a later date. But for handful of you who have been waiting, I give you my 75-Page design document (if formatting wasn't bullet-point, it'd be closer to about 40 or so... still ridiculous) for a game that will never be.

EDIT: SardanticDecay showed me some spelling errors I missed (I somehow spelled "dildo" as "didlo" 4 times in a row), and I made one achievement more clear. Updated the file to be the correct version.

Sadly, I don't think that's likely. HypnoLab VR was a test for what they wanted to do for an OverWhored 2, and to introduce Kady to the Snow Dazed universe. But after some internal struggles, Zeta has decided to re-do Snow Dazed and then make a sequel. I have contact with him, so if he ever wants to do a HypnoLab 2, I'm more than willing to work with him (including finishing the dialogue for the characters), but I wouldn't hold my breath for a sequel. Shame, since this is easily my favorite of Outbreak Games (I'm not a fan of incest at all, so Snow Dazed just isn't something I like)
