Seemed to me the prior comments were all respectful and patient, expressing interest in and curiosity about the new update. We have absolutely had some troubling instances of truly deplorable behavior targeting mod creators on F95, but commenting on the mod thread regarding your excitement and anticipation for a coming update seems pretty reasonable to me. Scrappy hadn't been tagged or replied to yet re:0.9.7, thus I replied to an earlier post of his to ensure he has a notification. Several modders have explicitly asked that someone tag them regarding new updates to games w/ their existing mods.
Also, taking 60 seconds to write a quick 2-3 sentence post acknowledging the game update and providing a realistic schedule for the mod update helps to reduce posts questioning update timing; as you said, mods are often taken for granted because users don't know better.

Can't give a realistic schedule, I aim for a day or 2 but with games like this that physically take a long time due to the length and size of the files all might take longer.

Just out of curiosity and since you published the mod's files on github, I toyed with 0.9.7 to see if I could help. I've been able to update the existing files to take into account the changes Expanding Universe has made in the main script, in ep12 and in the endings script. I've also used the plain walkthrough to add hints to ep13. What I haven't done yet is to add the new scenes to the gallery. If there's anything in all this that would help you, I'll be glad to send a PR your way on github. Otherwise, well, I've had my fun. In any case, thank you for the mod !
