I dont get this fixation on the Abandoned-Tag. If a game has a decent enough fanbase and because of that Patreon-Backing, nobody cares about the Abandoned-Tag.

I feel that the users here see it as some form of revenge for lazy devs, while in reality, nobody cares if a piracy-site says a game is abandoned.

Fact A: Western porn games are niche. A very sizeable portion of their backers comes from the very flew places they can be discussed at, like this site.

Fact B: There are plenty of people with disposable income who think with their dick and subscribe to a bunch of shit on Patreon. Often they don't even bother to check if they get any bang for their buck or just paying a game with no updates.

Taking those two facts into account, you can understand why no low to mid-tier dev wants an abandoned tag reminding people of a game's state, even if it's "just a piracy site".

Lol, no. It had elements of that, but then some people miraculously convinced the dev to massively overcommit to the premise to the point where it essentially became a laughingstock IMO. Primary reason why I stopped supporting them, because I felt it was pointless to continue investing in this one thing that had, for some reason, become all-consuming.

It really wouldn't have bothered me half as much as it did if it had been alternated in favor of other content as well, but it was (and still is IMO) too much. Assuming I even bother to play this again, I'll probably never even go down this path because I was long ago bored with it

The dev is branded as "Expanding Universe." Breast expansion is pretty much their whole thing.

Just browsing the contents of the game folder I can say that there is a new chapter but it doesn't look like there are any new endings. Also; new chapter does not have images matching the "broken watch" theme. Maybe there's some advancement on previously hinted "true endings" that are probably more vanilla?


I vaguely recall the developer commenting a couple of years ago that they themselves were kind of sick of the game and the story when they were doing "broken watch" but felt obligated to get it out of the way, I interpreted this as a source of burnout that led them to start a new project but I could very easily be wrong - I'm sharing speculation, not certainty.

I think this guy just wanted to troll people who like the mind control kink by making a game showcasing how bad the fantasy really would work out IRL. Thing is, it only works out that way if (like the MC of this story) the person doesn't have a functioning brain beyond making big boobs bigger, everything else is secondary to big boobs

Partially true. IIRC what actually happened was along the lines of one particular fetish getting outrageously out of control and then when inevitably the game took a popularity hit (because people got sick of waiting for more diverse content) it just got sidelined

Sad behavior, IMO, and actually something completely avoidable because people kept asking for other stuff and/or commenting on this ending taking too long

True, but other things were also happening more or less at player discretion IIRC. This whole uber-massive breast expansion stuff was only during this ending which, I also believe wasn't originally planned to be anywhere near this expansive but some people got really excited so they went in on it more and more

Someone else mentioned the dev getting a bit burned out by this ending, which I also vaguely remember (if not in those exact words). Heck, the plot was barely even progressing - I vaguely remember it was more or less time-skips with an after-story feeling. I would probably go so far as to say you could cut the entirety of this ending and the game wouldn't feel any less "complete" (It's not, I'm just using it as a term) which goes to show how little it adds IMO - Yes, this is partially my opinion but it's still based in logic that I think most people could follow.

The TLDR is this ending became way too all-consuming and people got bored with the game, because, quite obviously most people aren't that into it and nothing new was happening.

Nah, this game is mainly for Breast Expansion. The Hypnosis is just the medium for it. The Dev could also have gone for a magical potion or similar things. If you follow the social media of the Dev you see that he has mainly a kink for big boobs, Breast Expansion and pregnancy.



IMO there is so much stuff to play (on this site and in general) that I dont really care about long waittimes. Depending on how the game progresses, I might not be as interested in it anymore (e.g. I am not really interested in this game, mainly because I dislike how the Broken Watch-Ending ended, since the last Update did not progress from what was seen before, but added scenes in between), but if there is an Update, I usually play it. And until then, I have more than enough other stuff to play.

Rather, I don't play as many of these games because I find too many are simply low-effort and not worth the time expenditure IMO. I'd rather play a 1/4 or less of the games but felt like I didn't waste my time rather than the opposite. And that's not to say they have to be high-budget or anything, just felt like it was "meaningful" (weird descriptor, I know) in some way - For example, sometimes you play a game and are surprised by the story being really good, etc..

Oh, for sure the Dev got burned out from the Broken Watch-Ending. The main ending will most likely also feature way bigger boobs than the current boobs on the main path, but it was quite clear that the Broken Watch-Ending took too long, even for the Dev.

I agree on that one. What I just meant was that I can fill my freetime without waiting for any of those games. Whether it is playing another Porn game from here or starting my 500th Dark Souls-Run, I will manage. So I am not really concerned about the Development Time. And the only time I abandoned a game from here was when I simply did not dislike it.

I like Hypnosis, mainly because of the Breast Expansion. But even for me the Broken Watch-Ending took a bit too long and I was unsatisfied with the ending overall. So I am not even sure if I actually want to play the newest Update of this game.

Shame that this game went to shit. Hopefully, the broken watch stuff is done and it can get back on track. I enjoy variety, but there's a size limit. After a certain point, huge boobs look stupid.

We have saying here "One swallow does not make spring" if where will still be 1 update per year or even longer then i won't even bother to check them, it sure WAS nice game... then story start going from ok to bad and to worse and shortly after the entire update schedule. For me it's still abandoned especialy when it happend to get an update minute after getting abandoned tag just to clear it out, it's rly dosnt look right.

btw. someone says it's taking so long cous they working on another game, sure but that 2nd project get similar attention from devs 1 update per year or so... If u can't focus enought to end one project DO NOT start another one just to leave both unfinished...

Also a lot of players lost interest in the game due to Broken Watch taking a huge chunk of the later development. BE is a very niche fetish and at the end it was getting stupid huge along with the story. I basically skip through most of the dialogues in that path. Some people will say the Dev name is expanding universe so the main theme is growing paths but the game name is hypnosis so the expectation for most players is mind control/hypnosis. It's really a chicken and egg thing and we can argue till cows come home and wont come to a consensus.

I can only say the support base for this game wont grow and probably drop if the dev keeps on dragging his feet on releases and focus on all the side paths to cater a very small niche group. He should focus on the main story path and then he can add as many side story as he wants.

I was gonna say, it's been so long I forgot a huge portion of events that even happened. I just looked, and I have SEVERAL saves, and really not too interested in going through it all. I'm downloading this update, anyway, just to check out one of the saves and see what happens. Maybe I won't end up deleting it all and hitting the ignore button. lol

Nothing significant in main path (maybe even nothing at all as I played years ago and don't remember details). Still ending in the gym scene (like 3 or 4 years ago). He just removed hint about continuation of main story that was there for last 2 years.

Maybe he will add that as current version (by his word) is partial update and is lacking "hypno/true path" patch continuation that he will update "soon".
Take it how you will. Excluding BE content that was for only part of his audience we get 3 or 4 years of nothing new.

EDIT: I was wrong, there is some additional (if my memory is OK) content outside broken watch. as mentioned below you need to get watch back. On that route where you meet twin sister.
